Don’t ever think you’re talking too much about cotton! I remember tromping cotton in wagons when I was a kid and taking them to the gin. It’s all rice and soybeans on my ground now but I miss cotton. I just wish I could smell the defoliant and the fresh picked cotton!👍
I like the idea of running that VT tool this fall especially if it’s gonna be dry for the rest of the year. Hope cotton picking goes well for y’all this season👍🏻
I wouldn’t have even considered it but we had plenty of time on our hands to try it this season. Mother Nature works for us down here in the south as far as breaking the stalks down.
Great video man would it suit your outfit better with set of 6 or 8 John Deere switch on land plows I just never understood how the one way bottom plows can be productive and yes cotton will make a fool out you

We have some plowing action coming in the future. I’ve had some trouble with a lot of my footage getting it downloaded off the camera.

Bad job in the fall is still better than a great one in the spring.
It would be fun to try growing a handful of some cotton in Nebraska. Guy tried it 60 miles south 20 years ago.

What is a good cotton yield? I’m from Indiana and have no idea when it comes to cotton. I find this very interesting
1500 to 2000 pounds per acre.

We used to run 8 plows and tractors around the clock back in the 90’s. We would plow 5000 acres every year.
