where i worked they drilled their wheat but drilled wheat had trouble with plant health in many ways you planting on 30 in rows may be the ticket to help plant health issues 15in maybe better but all you have is a 30 in row planter so 30 in is what it is if this 30 in works maybe look at finding a 15 in planter for next year
Eric man I’m so pumped from this video brother🤣🤣From operator to operator I see you getting er done. That’s the way to do it pick the ends clean and let er eat…Get to the end and never check up swang er around at the same speed you’re picking🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡Love to see it brother. We lacking about 20 acres here in Louisiana…we’ll get it pretty easily….great content always learning keep em coming brother
Every year when we start cotton harvest we go to the field and the first cotton stalk we come to that’s the one I use to clean out the heads on the picker
I live in the piedmont of nc in the early 70 s a farmer planted barley in 36 inch rows with Alice chaler planter the notill planters are here he harvested a crop there is pictures in book I have on it looked good
How many acers does it take on average to make one of these round bails of cotton .if that is something you dont want to disclose, im ok with that. Thank you for sharing .good luck with the wheat .
Little bit top heavy but not to the point of rolling one. We just swing around tight because we are only 15’ wide and pick back beside the last pass to stay out of the way of the stalk cutter.
Erin hopes to start it for the first time tomorrow morning. It’s been a long exhausting summer for them over there. I stay out of it because nothing over there involves me other than through her.
Great video!! Thanks for taking us along !!... As for the wheat ....heck try it if you don't try it may never get done !!! Stay safe!!

Did I see a falling star as the sun was setting or was that something else?
Probably was. We see them all the time around here!!
Are the cotton pickers top heavy? They seem to spin around tight. Seems like they would easily turn over.

Yes we are fine. It’s just ginning season and we are working 24/7 non stop. Business comes first I know you understand. Hang in there.
Gonna be interesting to see how that “30 wheat does. Im sure itll like plenty of nitrogen.
It’s not going to be easily done. I’m going to have to manage it all the way through.
Hope things go good with your gin after all you did with it in the offseason .
Erin hopes to start it for the first time tomorrow morning. It’s been a long exhausting summer for them over there. I stay out of it because nothing over there involves me other than through her.
