Heres a story from when i was a tiny tot:
So my mom wanted total me to iHop and when we got threw ordered and everything was chill.
tHeN i found a hair in my food ( My own hair, i could tell) So i pulled it out and my mom noticed and gasped saying " We'll never come here again!" I told her it was my hair.
She wouldn't have it. she asked to speak to the manager and complained about the hair which i told them was mine..
then she yelled at me for lying.

This literally just happened:
I’m at Trader Joe’s and my local Trader Joe’s is doing a promotion where you get entered into a gift card drawing if you use reusable bags or in my case, just carry your groceries out.
I didn’t bother entering because I can afford to pay for my things and I wouldn’t want to take an opportunity away from someone who may really need it.
Anywho the Karen behind me has a cart full of groceries and no reusable bags so she gets the paper ones (we don’t pay for bags in my state) and then she asks to be entered to the giveaway the cashier had mentioned to me. The cashier let her know it was exclusively for people who don’t use the disposable bags they offer and she scoffs. (I saw this starting to escalate so of course my nosy ass had to watch it go down)
Karen starts unbagging her groceries and putting them in her cart making a total mess. The cashier couldn’t do anything but watch her, and I could see her annoyance. After Karen throws like 10 bags on the floor rendering them unusable, she demands to be entered into the giveaway. And the girl says no because she still created a mountain of trash and Karen demanded a manager. I left after that but god damn that was the most entitled shit I’ve ever seen.
That seems like a gigantic waste of time and bags. How do people like this even exist?
Some customers are so rude and entitled.
I remember when I started working my first job, a customer walked in and all the cashiers said that they refuse to take her because she is such a pain in the ass. I was the only one willing to take her. I was in for a rude awakening. She comes with two carts of items. As I scan them we talked and she was actually nice at first. I soon forgot about how annoying she was supposed to be according to the other cashiers.
Anyways, after I scanned everything, the items come to about $1,000. She gasped like "oh my god that is so expensive. This is ridiculous" as if 30 to 40 items that cost between $20-40 is supposed to be anything less than $1,000. She proceeds to say, "there must be some way I can get a coupon or discount. I'm a loyal customer and I'm the wife of a diplomat". And I say, "I can't give you a discount. All of the discounts at our store comes through your phone when you do a text to win". Then she says, "my phone is off completely. There is not way I can do it. There must be some way. I'm a loyal customer. I must get at least 50% off!". Then the man waiting behind her said, "I have a coupon code I can share with you, but's not 50%, it's 20%". I tell the nice guy, "thank you so much. Are you aware you can only use the coupon code once so if you give it to ber you can't use it?" The guy decides to keep HIS coupon for himself. The lady proceeds to argue with the guy about how selfish he's being for not giving her his coupon and how he is a man and he needs to be a provider and all the crazy shit. He ends up ignoring her as she complains. Anyways, the guy gets called to another cash register and he leaves.
She then returns to me and demands that I give her my employee discount and I tell her that I'm not supposed to do that because she's not an employee and it would technically be a fraud. That I could get fired if I do that. She proceeds to say, "I don't fucking care if you get fired. It's your responsibility to make the customer happy at all costs because the customer is always right!", so I said, "No. It's my responsibly to ring you up, fold and bag your clothes". After some more complaining, she calls corporate and argues with them for over an hour then gets a $5 coupon. She uses that then politely asks another customer for their coupon who gives her a 20% off coupon. She adds that to her cost. You'd think she would be done after that, but no. She asked me if she can keep the hanger for the clothes. I told her no and she then calls corporate on me again!.
There is so much more that happened that I cut, but long story short, she was there arguing for 3 hours and ended up being banned from the store. Crazy lady!
P.S: Her husband was a regular shopper and he such a sweet guy. I don't know how those two are married. He's is way out of her league and a gentleman.
They exsist by sucking the life, joy, and souls out of everyone around them. Idk why, but I always imagine that they are the kind of people that would see a crying child and go over to them acting like they are trying to comfort the child.... All why licking the tears off the kids face saying :"Yes, yes, your suffering sustains me."

She still shouldn't have changed the tip because of the receptionist. The receptionist was probably an hourly position, all she did was mess up the tip for the person who did the massage.

Yeah I don’t think her offer to pay material was unfair. You don’t have to put that top priority over paying customers. But you’ll usually always have some slower time. And then I really don’t see anything wrong with using your skills to help somebody out. You’ll probably need their help some other time.
But there is a big difference between offering it to them or being asked for it.

I have a story similar to the beer ones.
When I was young, like 10-12, I made really good brookies(brownie cookies) and I still kinda do. For Thanksgiving, I made some. Everyone liked them, and I was really happy. I hadn’t had a chance to eat any, so I made my dad promise to keep the leftovers. Fast forward, my Grandma is drunk/buzzed. At the end when people were taking leftovers, my Grandma was taking ice cream shots and my brookies. My dad saw her and told her that we were keeping them. She argued for a little bit, but eventually gave up. Then she brought the shots to work the next day. It’s a miracle she didn’t get fired. The brookies were good though.

I use to draw A LOT in high school. My classmates would OFTEN ask me to draw them. Trying to be nice, I had to tell them all that I couldn't. One kid was so mad he shoved the pencil I was holding, it dug into my paper tearing my whole art project. I had spent HOURS on it! I had to start it all over again. I dont know if the teacher punished him, but I was in tears and recieved no apology.
Teacher did let me take my artwork home to work on to get it caught back up.
Just wasn't the same.

Also, not everybody is rich enough to just throw a $10 tip around. but for the ungrateful people who cannot appreciate a tip, you might as well not even tip them. They don't deserve a tip if they are not going to be appreciate for it, especially when they criticize for it. I don't really see how dumb a person can get to get mad over a tip.

I've worked for a watersport school in my free time and there was this one annoying guy. Since he was kinda a friend of my boss, he got a beer after we were done with our work for the day. He didn't help at all tho.. but it was just a beer, right? No.
He came over every single day, just sat there, looked at us when there was some work to do and drank our whole coffee, wich we paid for ourselves, ate our breakfast and drank a beer. No wait, not one beer.. he even had the audacity to drink 3 beer or more.
Even my boss was annoyed, but he was too nice to say no..
But one day his mom called us and told us how nice we were to let him have a beer etc after he did such a great job for us. (He was over 30 btw)
We just told her everything and now he lives with his mom again.
Well, I'm sorry for the mom, that she got a son who is over 30 and doesn't work at all. He just cares about food, beer and judging other people while they're working.

Eh, not all are like that. I have Aspergers myself and I'm actually ashamed to take anything offered unless I ask specifically if I can have something, and try only taking a bare minimum. @@mumrik3471 No worries! It's always going to be a case of how parents teach their kids how to behave. Autism can make social interactions tricky, but a saving grace is getting a diagnosis at an early age and have the kid go into classes meant to help teach them to interact with people better. It won't cure the condition ( I highly doubt autism will ever be cured, and many times I believe it's best if it wasn't) but it'll greatly improve quality of life.

I didn't get my Aspbergers diagnosis until I was in my 20s so growing up around people expecting you to know "unwritten rules" wasn't easy.
I was even selectivly mute for a year, just studying human body language and people thought I was rude.
Social dynamics helped a lot, because it's basically just reading from a script.
Animals have also been a great comfort! Their body language is very easy to read and unlike humans, they are honest and not tiptoeing around the subject.
@@mumrik3471 Definitely! I have two pups of my own and a few have said I've noticeably calmed down with them ( I was never too extreme, but I'd have my off days. The dogs really help me out when I'm feeling blue.)

I had a coworker lose everything in a fire twice. The first lady was so grateful for anything you could give and some people bought fairly expensive items like kitchen appliances to help. We all felt good.
The second guy made a point of requesting gift cards to certain expensive stores rather than "ratty used things". I had made out a check, but immediately voided it.
I like how he used " your " wrong and still corrected the kid when he used " your " wrong.

I was a delivery driver for a year, and I can say 3 dollars was a good tip for one or two large pizzas. If I only got that much in tips per night, I'd usually clock out with about $50 that night.

One time my family ordered food from Grub hub and the delivery guy arrived so I told my sister to go get my wallet since we didn't tip on the app he gave me the food and was about to leave when I called to my sister asking her where it is my dad said to just grab from his wallet the delivery driver just glared at me and said "Gee thanks for the tipping." In that moment he left and my sister handed me the $5 but I just kept it and shut the door

I love the fact that the PS4 beggar says that kids and teens grow up loving things that their parents didn't. First of all, beggar, these things were not available at the time. Second, we do. I'm a young adult, and I grew up loving jewellery making, drawing, painting, writing stories and songs, did crafts with coloured papers, daisy chains, etc. I did not grow up with money, so I made so with what I had. I know teens from my old dance studio who love dance so much that they train day after day for competitions and to improve their technique.
There is more to the teens you think you know than just gaming and going out.
