This was probably my favorite of all the Kenyan coffees I’ve had from Tim this year! It’s a chance to try a unique variety AND from a region that isn’t really explored much as opposed to Nyeri. To me, this brought a more “classic” Kenyan profile compared to other Kenyan regions…plus, there’s no Ruiru holding back the bright, effervescent acidity 😉 I’ll take a coffee with a unique factor and a flavor profile that’s a bit different over something I can easily get elsewhere from other regions!
We're the same in the sense that uniqueness is important. Could definitely understand why this one aligned a bit more with your preferences in that regard
Really enjoyed this review, and as always, it’s so much fun to be drinking the same coffee and hear your opinions on it! Thanks for all of the insight!!
Eeeyep I had a very similar takeaway - super clean base (as with the other TW coffees I ordered), but somewhat tame and a more herbal /savory Kenyan profile than I wanted personally.
Appreciate your feedback on this one, always nice to hear of similar experiences. Tim's coffees certainly have an interconnected theme, that's for sure

Your buddy set you up 😂
Perhaps.....but a Tim Wendelboe Kenya review will always be popular 😂
