- The Pro-Form Cadence Compact 300 is an excellent entry level treadmill for under 300 dollars. This treadmill was purchased at Walmart and has a bluetooth function. With the iFit app on a smart device you can connect to this treadmill and run iFit preprogrammed workouts with and without the treadmill. The build quality is well done and it functions like any new treadmill on the marked. I've had it for roughly 4 months and use it very frequently. It has an easy to use intuitive screen and digital display. The rest of the tips and downfalls of the CC 300 you will have to see in the video!

Question of the week: Have you ever had someone watch you run / had a running coach?
Just got one tonight .. thanks for the review
No problem! I'm glad I could help.
Great review! I really like how small it is. I’m curious as to how it holds up over time though. Please make a 6 month - 1 year review!
Mike! I'll add that to the list of content coming up. Thank you for watching it and taking the time to comment! ✊
Thanks for the review, I’m gonna go buy this today :)
No problem! I'm glad it was helpful for you 😃
I bought this treadmill two years ago. It's really good but lately I've had problems with the console. When I turn on the machine it will start on a 9.6 speed and won't let me use any other speed. I have been trying to fix it by restarting the treadmill and unplugging it but haven't been able to fix the problem ☹I'd really appreciate any advice!!!
This would be a manufacturer question. I have never heard of this happening and don't have any suggestions. I'm sorry 😞
I am 6 feet tall and 210 pounds and I am thinking of getting this treadmill because of how small it is. You think it will work for me ? I plan on just walking no running.
Hey Esteban. You should be fine with this treadmill to walk on. You just may not have much wiggle room to drift forward or backward without kicking the motor guard or pushing off the rear belt roller. It's a great little treadmill though. I've had no complaints thus far.
@@motivationhw thank you !
I love how it takes no space when folded up! also, u guys really need to start using kg, so I don't need to google how much 275 Lb is in kg :P Great Video, as always!
That is a very nice feature Grafena! P.s. You should learn both systems so then you just know 😏😉
How tall are you? I'm 5'2 and normally prefer jogging at a 5mph rate. I know that fits the description of the treadmill, but I'm curious to know whether I'll have space to run with longer strides. Definitely leaning towards buying this one, but would like your opinion!
@Meditating_Mango I am 5'7". I just about always round up to 5'8" though 😉 I don't see stride length being a problem for you on this treadmill. I don't have any issues at all with the length or the width of the belt (sometimes I tap the front). You would really have to try to extend your running stride so far to make it an issue. At that point you'd be setting yourself up for injury based on your running form anyways. I hope this helps! I'm happy to answer any other questions you have 😊
I have that treadmill and I bypassed the Ifit but I need to know how to use the settings to set the timer
The timer starts automatically when you hit start on the treadmill.
A tenant left this treadmill in his apartment and it is like new. I plug it in and the screen says hello but I cannot get it to do anything else. Do you have any information, ideas, suggestions as to what may be wrong with the unit?
Hi Jeff. That's a great leave for you! I'm going to get back to you specifically with this question. I don't have the manual at the moment to see if this is something they address in there (I'll check to see if I can find it online). With the treadmill on, see if your phone or a smart device picks up the treadmill's signal. My thought is that it will likely work just fine from what I've seen on other models. We just have to figure out the correct step to bypass the hello screen. Happy New Year!
Waiting for an answer re:my cadence 300 as I have two parties interested in it.
Hey Jeff. I can't find a manual for this online and I must have thrown mine away because I have been looking for it and can't find it. The biggest thing I can think of is that the treadmill needs to be unlocked which would entail downloading the IFit app and setting it up via their directions in the app. I'm sorry I don't have a good answer/solution for you! I'll keep looking. I just wanted to give you an update.
Can you set up your time to workout on this machine? Like 30 minutes?
They don't have a countdown timer on this machine, but the clock does start right when you hit go. So essentially you could just watch the time and stop when you hit 30 minutes or you could download the IFit app and sync a 30 minute workout with your treadmill. They may even have a function to set a timer in the app too 🤔
Just got my treadmill today and already unlocked and activated my treadmill. But I don't know how to get the belt moving. Do I push the settings button first? I don't plan on using IFIT at all. I just want a regular workout where I can adjust the speed myself.
It needs to be on and that little safety magnet clip needs to be in the right position. Then just hit start or click on a number! Let me know if it still doesn't work and I can try to help further. It really should be as easy as turn it on and go if you're not using the ifit app! That's the major perk for me and why this treadmill works great!
@@motivationhw Thank you for your prompt response! Yes, I did that last night, but I had to wait for the numbers to appear as 0.00 first, then I pushed the start button and was able to adjust the speed.
@@CaliTexan so you got it to work??
@@motivationhw Yes, I did, thank you!
Hello again, I was using my treadmill tonight and it shut off by itself and won't come back on? Do you have any idea why? Maybe it overheated? Because it felt very warm near the motor. I guess it was the overheating after all since it came back on. I have a few more questions. The rubber comes off of my shoes a lot when I walk ony treadmill and I get tired of cleaning the mess after I exercise. Is there a way I can prevent this from happening? Also, is it ok to use WD-40 to lubricate the belt?
Hi there. I have never had the motor stop on me like you are describing. It does sound like it's overheating though, especially if it comes back on. If it keeps happening definitely contact customer service.
As far as shoes go, I'd look into a different pair of shoes. It's common to have tread wear on your shoes, but it sounds like yours are completely shredding apart. If you want to send me a picture of the side and bottom to my email motivation.jayson@gmail.com I will look at them and can offer more suggestions.
I honestly don't think WD-40 would cause any problems, but I'd have to put some research time into that. The last thing you want is having that stuff all over the belt and inside your gym space lol
@@motivationhw Hi there! Yes, it comes back on after 20 minutes. I'm thinking it overheats because I'm using it too long? I usually exercise for two and a half hours. So, maybe that could be the reason? I did call customer service and they said they weren't sure either why it turns off by itself and that I need to send them a video clip of the motor shutting off.
Ok, thank you for your email. I will send you a picture of my shoes.
I also heard WD-40 can damage the belt, so I ordered a lubricant for treadmills instead.
I’m 260 6’2” would you think this would be okay just for walking?
Hey Kevin, I would think walking on this treadmill would be fine for you. Like I told one of the other tall fellows in the comments, you just may not have much wiggle room to drift forward or backward without kicking the motor guard or pushing off the rear belt roller. It's a great little treadmill though. I've had no complaints thus far.
Can a person lock and unlock the treadmill? I am sure the owner unlocked it but could he have re-locked it?
I don't think someone can lock it. I don't know why someone would honestly lol
You only have to go online for it to tell you to hold down a ific button for 30 seconds to unlock it and make it work.
This was my experience following the directions on setting it up. The treadmill would not let me just use it. There was a giant sticker on it that said you must unlock before using it and it would not let me just use it! You may find a way around putting credit card/debit card information in the app, but I was unable to just plug it in, hop on and go. I can't recheck the experience that I had with setting this up unfortunately. I followed the directions given by the manufacturer. Please set yours up however you like!
How important is the weight limit? I’m around 315 now, but can’t afford something bigger
I think that you would be fine on this. Most of the time companies underrate their max weight capacity to ensure that they cover their own a** for liability reasons. With that being said you would be taking a risk as I honestly don't know if this will accommodate 315lbs. Walking maybe, but jogging on this may cause malfunction due to the impact force of running exceeding 2-4 times your body weight with each step. I just don't know if they incorporate this into their max weight capacity listing or not. I'm sorry I couldn't give you a better answer than that.
@@motivationhw I think I’ll stick with it just to walk on till I get down to a better number to start running thank you
I can’t get it built can someone help me
What Are you struggling with?
@@motivationhw putting the bottom piece on. It doesn’t seem to “fit” if that makes any sense and based on the picture, that bottom piece is suppose to attach to the rails.
Is it still working ? I found one for 180$😅
I don't have any issues with mine!
Does it have incline?
It does not unfortunately. Not having incline is one of the big downfalls of this treadmill otherwise it's a great beginner treadmill.
My belt does not go even with the clip in 😢
Uh ohh. Did the arms get bent? I noticed that there's some giggle room to move the arms side to side so that the belt can easily be put in the upright/stored position 🤔
Hello, I sent you an email just now. Hope you got it.
Just emailed you back!
