Hello... I have the TL version, basically is the same... You can unlock if you press IFIT button for 30 seconds... And will be standalone, I will try to use with Strava because I already pay for that subscription... Cheers...
3:40 Not sure why recommending more expensive models for “extensive training and long distance running” when ProForm website states for Carbon TLX: “The 3.0 CHP motor stays cool through the toughest workouts; creates high levels of inertia for a smooth, powerful feel; and promises a quiet in-home experience. Great for heavy use, this motor is built with high-quality components.” Also, a different reviewer training for marathons fully recommends Carbon TLX for all runs. Gonna get it and update this comment if it breaks. Overall good review.
I like it. It's so hard to find a basic no-frills treadmill without a huge screen blocking your view or requiring an obnoxious monthly fee to use. Some of us like to do our own thing on the treadmill and don't mind adjusting the speed and incline either. Thanks, TRG!
@@KampMiggy I got one and I didn't have to bypass anything. It worked fine out of the box as new. It's a great treadmill. There is a ledge for the tablet/ipad......
So looking at horizon t202 and this Proform Carbon TLX. Half marathon training, 14 minute mile avg. Dont care about ifit or any console frills. Which one would fit this purpose better?
I would pick the ProForm TLX over the Horizon T202. However right now you can get the Horizon 7.0 AT for $200 off which makes it a great buy and would be a better fit, performance wise, than the other 2 treadmills mentioned. treviewguru.com/Horizon70AT
@@SamLazarusDrums Yep, it's easy. The adjustment buttons are on the front next to the start and stop buttons. There aren't any side buttons on the handles on this model.
@@TreadmillReviewGuru Okay perfect! Thank you so much. That was like a big thing for us with getting our next treadmill it had to go up increments of .1! Thank you for clearing that up that this one does!
Biggest difference is that the Trainer 12.0 has a touchscreen with integrated content on the console. The 12.0 also has a crossbar between the 2 uprights to bring a little bit more stability to the treadmill.

Are you actually trusting the manufacturers statement vs a real review? Were you born yesterday? 😂 wake up.
Hi, any update on the treadmill? Thanks

It's definitely nice to have some treadmills with touch screens and some without to choose from. Thanks for watching!

Can the Ifit be bypassed ?
I hope so..... I just bought one
@@MilesBellas Were you able to bypass it? Or, not have to subscribe?

Are there any treadmills that have a display that shows a lap/track visual? I loved that feature on my old ProForm.
Can I see the calories burned and distance on the screen without buying the membership?
Not counting IFIT, how many built in programs are there?
none
Is it normal for home treadmills to flex that like that? Shopping around for one. Thanks
This or the 7.0at?
does it have foot levelers. the area that i need to put it is unlevel so it would be nice to have foot levelers.
What incline does it goes up to?
Do the incline and speed go up in 0.5 increments or only 1.0 increments? Thanks.
Does it need to be unlocked with ifit every time, or just the very first time you turn it on?
Just the first time you turn it on. 👍
can i place a 13 inch macbook air on this?

@@TreadmillReviewGuru thank you for letting me know! The shipping is horrendous for me though. Minimum $130.
Does the speed go up by .1 increments or just the full numbers?
It goes up by .1 increments so you can really dial in your speed.
@@TreadmillReviewGuru okay and is it easy to do? Just with the arrow buttons on the side like the older models?

So, when you unlock it with your phone can you switch to the tablet afterwards?
more unnecessary surveillance ??!@

2:17 he looks like he's about to roll his ankles.
It needs Internet access before use ?!@
No. On switch on tread frame. Only need internet if wanna connect bluetooth
There is not bluetooth in this treadmill.
Is this tread mill motor loud? Quite? In the middle lol. Will it wake up my wife in the morning?🤣
My only question is , is it noisy 😩
Thanks!
