This interview was more exciting than I had anticipated. I've heard the word before but (oddly, for me) had never chased down its full meaning. Now with an entire book about it well, another item I need to put on my shopping or birthday wish list. Being a maker at heart, I'd love to make my own trims. So many of the available trims are always wrong for some reason: color, size, cost. I'm already looking forward to making some things using the book as a guide. And, yes, weaving can be addicting. On a larger loom, the steady beat of the shuttle and beam is relaxing and meditative. Time to rearrange my stuff so I can get my floor loom fired up. It's been quiet for far too long.
Elizabeth Ashdown is brilliant, did your course at Hand and Lock, bought a small loom, love it
