This is so amazing. Turning a negative situation from her past into such an inspiring positive now is truly the sweetest thing. I wanna play on it and bring all my kids and their friends and so on to play to. Wish I had the money to build one.
You don't always need a lot of money to humid some things, being creative and resourceful with the things around you helps A LOT, I know a lot of people that made really cool things with everyday items in their house😊 so don't let not having much money stop you

I can totally relate to the feeling of not being totally loved by anyone and I will never let my two now grown kids feel unloved, alone or unworthy. I live for my 4 grandsons and my kids but there comes a time that they outgrow you and have their own lives. So I spend way to much time alone. The only thing I have to offer is my love and time. Parents that worked for the state and having 7 kids we learn to appreciate things no matter the value which I worked for what I have and I'll never own a home or even a dbl wide and that is all I have ever wanted was something to call mine now I don't even dream of that ever happening and just barely can keep a roof over my head but let my grandbabies come over and life finds it's way back into me for a short time because they have to leave and loneliness takes over. I'm so glad you have managed to make dreams come true. Enjoy it

Cynthia Miranov So many people need someone to love them. Can you volunteer at a school? Help read books to the kids. Be a greeter at a hospital. Babysit for a single mama with no mama to help. You are worth everything to the Lord. Please help others outside your family. You'll be such a blessing😊
I foster cat's and feed feral cats, I help 3 elderly neighbors by walking their dogs, checking their mail, taking out their trash and running errands so I have plenty I volunteer for. I give so much of me to others and it gets to a point where they stop appreciating you and start expecting it. My heart is bigger than Texas and with all I do for other's isn't the same s the love and time with family and friends. Thank you for trying to help though. Your very kind!

My grandma had a terrible childhood and she's such a gem. She had so many grandchildren and made time for all of them and we all have a ton of amazing memories. She's such a good host too! Makes me want to be a good dad and grandpa someday. :)

I wish I got to spend more time with my granny gran before she passed away. It's been a long time. But I love her spirit and meaning behind this treehouse and I'm glad she doesn't restrict it to herself as many would.

Everyone say they wish their grandparents are like this. But you should be thankful. I don’t have any grandparents, they all died. So be thankful for what you do have. I would feel lucky to have mine be living again.

That treehouse is FANTASTIC!!!! Jeri - You will never, ever be forgotten!! The amazing memories that you have created for so many children, their thoughts of/fondness for you will last for many, many, many years to come!! I am also thinking that your husband considers himself to be one of the luckiest men on the face of the planet (to be married to such an amazing woman)!!
This woman is a wonderful Grandma... especially after the sadness she experienced with her own Grandma. Her Grandchildren are blessed.

I wish I had a treehouse when I was younger. I'd love to buy one of those adult treehouses -- even though they're expensive and not very practical, I'd imagine they'd be fun to live in.

People with a good spirit! This planet needs a lot more like them. I live in the city of Berlin without a garden. So my son got the biggest room and in this room I built a "two-house-bed" . I was soooo beautiful. Later, when he grew up, our cats decided to live there. When he was 17 he wanted to live like a "man" and unfortunately it is gone now...But it was a wonderful creation. And it is true: Kids who grow up so priviledged do not really know what they have. When my son was at University he met a collegefriend and saw how he lived at home. He said: "Now I start to see how priviledged I have been living all those years".

If I had this, I would literally be the luckiest kid ever. I'm 14, and would seriously LOVE this. I wish we had a tree house. I would use it ALL the time. It's everything I've ever wanted. This makes me extremely happy and extremely sad. My sweet parents passed away before they got to be grandparents. My husband's as well. So my children will never know the unconditional love grandparents give. My husband and I never got to see the amazing job they would have done spoiling/ loving them. This is beautiful.

This grandma reminds me a great deal of my mother. My mama grew up feeling very unloved by her own parents and decided to take the way she was raised and used that as a template of what not to do. This woman battled demons that would crack most people and her own daughters didn’t know until we were way into our late twenties. She also made the transition from mother to grandmother and friend very smoothly. Some women are born to nurture and love and no trauma will stop that. Bless this lady and all the other mothers who love unconditionally.

This is a wonderful tree house built with love. I found this video on Houzz, in an article written by Sarah Greenman. In the video Jeri reads "I PRAY....." and in the article Sarah wrote "I PLEDGE...." hmmmmmm. If I were Jeri Wakefield, I would not like that one bit.
