I must be irredeemably confused, because I just did exactly what I thought you said, and in the Tokyo race, I am still in P16, 4 seconds behind P15, 8 seconds behind P1, and growing by the time I get to the first braking zone. It gets worse after that. All I did was put on Racing Mediums. Hopelessly underpowered on the straights.
@@naffantait Comfort or Sport road tyres? I went with Comfort to get the PP down. It did not go well. 12 long slow laps. P13. Sport tyres - no good. Had to reduce power too much. Thanks for the video though
based on my experience this car absolutely shreds its tyres pretty quickly. don’t know where you got the “kind on its tyres” from unless you’re referring to it compared to other road cars rather than other gr.b cars? because in my experience it’s pretty bad compared to those and i had to pit more as my tyres quickly died
Have you tried this for the Tokyo 600? Haven't given that race an honest shot yet due to the low PP. Tried with the RB Jr but the AI was kicking my ass on the first lap so haven't been back lmao
E92 M3 with weight reduction, cage, chassis stiffening, aero and adjustable race trans is a bargain also. I have the race ecu also but that's only to detune it down to 400hp. I actually like to enjoy the challenge/race instead of grinding for credits. Still a quite simple race on normal mode though, the e92 just rips around Sarthe.
went in to legends to buy the XJR for the cafe book but got side tracked by the Celica and bought it on autopilot 😅 then didnt have enough for the Jag so did another TE600 run and did my best time with the Esco at 23m07s with a PB lap of 1m49s. too impatient to get it over an done to spend some time with this legendary car. next buys going to be the 205 rally thats sitting there telling me to buy it 😂
Do you restrict power/use weak tires to drop the Escudo down to 700PP? I used it for the Spa 1 hr because dropping it to 800PP is easy, but the lack of headlights sucked since the middle third of the race is in the dark.
@@QuestApex yea do the build he did on one of his prior build but reatrict the power down to like 691 PP and have hard compound slick tires as well as wet tires since it rains then do the lemans race for 30 min pay out is 825K you will be able to over lap most of them I usually do 3:45 per lap that’s fast my other build with the Mazda that he did was doing 4:40 per lap and that was fast

Cheat Code? it's down right nasty it should be illegal... on the new track with the medium rpm turbo (massive torque for the corners 680hp @ 840.8ftlb's of torque @ 641pp on Dirt Tires) it makes even the cheating cars look normal :D what's more is it's never let me down, I let myself down as I try to be too aggressive with it and it does not like it. I would say This and the Escudo are 2 of the biggest Gems you can buy at this time and never have to worry.
Me too, bro. I hope PD will bring back more rally cars to GT7, like the 1986 Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2, the Lancia Delta S4, the Lancia 037, the 1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Rally Car, etc.

Posting them soon buddy!

Road tyres, biggest turbo and wallride
The GrB Honda NSX is the way to go. FM1 for almost whole race, no stop on hards, and no need to wall ride.
Easy peasey 😊

If you have a car with a Bugatti swap just use bad tires so you can turn down the pp and wall ride every turn
Cappuccino 13b swap easy win
C7 base corvette with a high rpm supercharger is the best cheap car for that race

In the UK Celica is pronounced Sir-leek-a (British) not Sell-ick-a (American) - Google Celica pronunciation.....
• /sə/ - “seh” (like the first syllable in “send”)
• /ˈliː/ - “lee” (with a long “e” sound)
• /kə/ - “kah” (like the “ca” in “camera”)
