@@DidYouArtwithMargauxJean they've helped me as well. I never had the good luck of joining painting lessons. I'm learning all by myself & her videos have not only helped me but inspired me as well.. :))
Hi my name is Joey and I'm a bookaholic. I think if I was a dragon I'd sit on a heap of books all day. There are my 3 favorite books: - Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte - Penturian by Tim Gibson - Ulysses by James Joyce
Just finished the book, in less than 30 days. Very nice, challenging at times but made it through. I’ve seen most of Jenna’s tutorial videos so it helped in some of the chapters. However, the last few chapters are hard to do as I am guessing on the details of how I would proceed. I suppose at that point, we are now encouraged to challenge ourselves on the details. All in all, it was a very good book. I have no background in painting, and I just started this one month ago. Now going back to her tutorials for more practice. 😍
The seriously organized desk, with complete in pink artwork area had my attention right off the bat. Looks like a very good setup with everything right at hand. What are artsy fartsy videos? Sounds a lil smelly :D.

Great / book share.. I never appreciated the color wheel until I saw demos by Bunnydesigns ; Heather demonstrated how with 3 colors you can literally make every color. It was amazing to watch her do this again & again with different paints.. I wish I knew this stuff, could have saved a bunch of money ! And kept my supplies down ☺️ Always fun to watch your studio shares..🌷🌷🌷
What is your opinion on using paint that has a cancer and reproductive harm label on the back because I just got the m gram gouache primary set and am concerned about it
Hmmmm, it's interesting because I have been seeing labels like that a lot lately as well..not just on art supplies but on other random items too. I'm not really sure why they put those labels on there. If anybody else knows, please feel free to jump on this comment thread. But let me do some research and let you know what I find. :-)
: I took the course for “ Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain”.. which teaches how to Look 👀 and draw what you see ~ not what you THINK you know is there... This is a skill that can be learned & developed over time. I gave up after awhile, because as an artist exhibiting in the fine arts, they don’t care about photo realism which is considered in the illustration category. You know, the great artists of today work in stylized interpretation. 😉
