Lol , I got shocked after seeing that this was for 10,300 Rupee but then I did a google search and came to know that this 10300 is price in Srilankan Rupee not Indian Rupee 😹 In INR it will be just Rs.2800 which is fine but the surprise you gave at the end the dirt and the cockroach resting in peace under the table I would like to skip this hotel 😅 and maybe increase my budget by a few dollars to stay at some other decent property. I hope the Fries , sandwiches you had and Chowmin that hani bhai had were prepared in hygienic conditions 💀 and you guys are healthy.

2) Srilanka has low Unemployment than India
3) India has whopping 220 million below poverty line. It ranks poorly in Hunger index. Srilanka is much better
4) Srilanka has better Literacy rate than India
5) Srilanka is more Clean than India
5) Safety ( men/ women safety) is high in Sri Lanka
6) India has highest Pollution
7) Srilanka has better Human development index

@@thavamt1776 hahaha I don't know why you got triggered by my simple comment, I didn't say that Srilanka is a polluted country or it is the most polluted country or it has lowest literacy rate in the world or it has the high Unemployment rate.
I simply said that I would skip this hotel because the Room that Karima stayed in wasn't cleaned thoroughly it had dirt inside the almirah and a dead cockroach lying under the glass.
Regarding your note - I don't watch the biased news channels that you think I do.
I am a Civil services aspirant, I have seen many travel vlogs of Indian youtubers exploring Srilanka during the political and economic crisis/turmoil during beginning of 2022, I hope you don't have any hate against Indians and you are aware about the goodwill and financial assistance that India has been providing to Srilanka from a long time. The comparison that you drew in your last comment are not to be done exclusively. There are numerous other factors in which Srilanka might be lagging behind. India is much larger in size and in Population too. Srilanka has a population of 2.2 crore whereas India has 140 crore. India is more culturally diverse and there are different types of terrains in India, we have international borders with countries like Pakistan,Tibet (which is annexed by China), Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Afghanistan. Some of these countries have been in crisis and also in war with India on different fronts, there are issues of cross border terrorism and refugees coming from Pakistan, Myanmar, Bangladesh.
India was divided into two parts back in 1947, we have been in war 5-6 times in the initial 50 years of our Independence. India was looted and left with little to nothing when we gained independence. We have come a long way and will keep growing.
We were a closed economy until LPG (Liberalisation, Privatisation, Globalisation) reforms in 1991.
I am well aware about the shortcomings of my country and I know conditions will improve in the future ofcourse by the participation of clean politicians and educated citizens.
I hope you know that the Indexes you have relied on doesn't show or tell about the real picture, its humanly impossible to do such research and reach to conclusions which country is better in which domain. The sample size and the factors that are considered in these indexes are not reliable at all. This goes for both the countries.
Every country has it's flaws, the best thing we can do is be the better version of ourselves and be helpful, respectful to our own people and to other countries.
I hope you don't take this comment to your ego this time around.
