#suggestion after the last known move in the database, I think it would be cool to know if the new move is the top move by the engine. It’s shows just how strong/prepared the player is and now we all further our vast knowledge of the best move. And if the player happens to not play the top move perhaps you could share why in that case. Anyone else agree?
Strongest movie by the engine depends on the computer, depht and time you let the engine analyse the position, how would Agad know this?(he probably doenst have superComputers or even if he has its not equal to those from GMs) The only thing he might say is if this is still theory or not..
@Joyraj Ghosh is right here. Agad is always keen to recognise that we are investigating humans playing chess, under time constraints; the "disgusting computer lines" are mentioned, but we are following the human game. Just to look at what computers have found, would be very boring.
There's a funny line worth mentioning that occurs in a few positions including the one at 13:00 : I wondered why Maxime didn't simply play Rd3 to threaten unavoidable mate with Rg3#, and it happens there is a mad rook stalemate after the white rook sacrifices itself against the black king. Just to mention Alireza still had a few tricks in his sleeve up till the end.
Big Magnus fan and alireza has te potential to be 2800 again. But Magnus domination isnt an arguable thing, thats what some of his haters won admit or doesnt understand
At a later point in the video you point out a line where the king and rook are used in concert to force a rook trade. But at 12:30 a rook trade could already be forced with Re4. Can't move the king or white would just lose the rook, so has to capture the rook and get captured by the knight. But it would be harder to make progress with the rooks off the board (after all, the white rook is pretty much harmless at this point) so I think that's why Maxime kept threatening a rook exchange but never forcing one.
Throught the video agadmator keeps saying with rooks of the board its over for white and at 12:30 MVL had an opportunity to force rooks of the board. So I was really wondering why he didn't do it. Looking closer at the position its a big mistake if black would trade rooks here, because after that white can trade his h pawn for blacks g pawn. Black can't prevent that and after that its a clear draw. Would have been nice if agadmator had mentioned that here because he keeps saying without rooks on the board black wins. Well, except in this position xD

The last time Magnus was below 2800 in official ratings was October 2009. He has been 2800+ rated for more than 12 years. How crazy is that? People are so used to him being 2800 and no.1 they sometimes forget how difficult it is to actually maintain a 2800+ rating.
Actually after f5-Rd7 happened and fg6-hg6, alireza played Ra4 and i immediate thought wait g5+ wins for black now because if Kh5 then Kf6! With the threat of Rh7# and of Ra6+ after Kf6 then Ke5 and one can feel that white king is in trouble while if Kh3 after g5+ then white is never getting h4 beside black has Rd3+ pushing king even further back but okay i guess what maxime played is a risk free technique
It seems to me that Alireza had to do more to defend the white pawn at B3, because he could and should resign as soon as that pawn falls. Wasn't it possible to defend it? I think it was. What do you think?
