Once a player is good they rinse and repeat. Fans easily lose interest in those markets because they have nothing to relate to. Sometimes they get lucky for 2 seasons. Rinse and repeat. Small market teams will sign older veterans in hopes of using them as trade pieces. Changing rosters seem to have more interest than the game. Maybe this is why baseball has lost interest.

They need a power hitting infielder more than a reliver especially with Effross, Burdi, Trivino and Hamilton coming back + Cole coming back will leave you with one of the starters to the BP
