No, as far as I know.

so i changed my mind because i couldn’t and wasn’t strong enough to pull the shifter off, so uhm how can put the white plastic bit back onto the little black lever because ive been trying for hours

I saw someone taking out the knob without releasing the white part in step six. Then He put a total different knob without hooking that thing back and it was working. To me that seemed odd. Is that possible tho?

No, you can’t. That small white plastic part unlock the gear stick to move it to P, N, etc.

На 3:15 минуте, Ошибка! Нужно возвести в обратную сторону курок (клавиша селектора), не нужно снимать накладку и пытаться двигать шток механизма!
