There’s a real feeling if there might be something there between the two of them, but it’s mostly one sided. Like, Caleb is pining in his self loathing and will never make a move and Jester will never fucking know. Which is a big sad mood and I love it.

I love how even when he as a DM is not part of the situation he still roleplays the NPCs so seamlessly (I guess you could say that is a DMs job but still. I like it a lot)
It's one thing when you hear Taliesin just have that high pitched laughter and we know it's funny. When you break Liam and he kind of does his natural(almost sitcom like) laugh and he can't help himself but to do that...you KNOW some shit went down and it was funny.
I get he laughs loud. But Liam's laugh is just so pure. He can stay in character and serious, but He has a certain threshold, exceed it and he's essentially the loudest laugh at the table. We need a compilation of Liam laughing.
Will I ever be over this scene? Probably not. I just love that Beau and Nott barely interact but WHEN they do it immediately escalates in some way 😆 And marisha and Sam always seem the most surprised by it 😂
I have watched this scene well over a dozen times over the last 8 months. It never ever gets old, and "...mEEEEeeeEEEEeeEE?!!!!??! OHHHH! IT'S MEEE!" never fails to make me laugh when I'm having a rough day. My favorite scene in CR. I love these people SO MUCH.

I still think the cutest thing in this scene is the CC handshake on accident. Nott's fear of, "What is this? What are you doing?" And then the IMMEDIATE excitement about the handshake is so cute.
Sam truly is a phenomenon actor. He completely ignores the others in the table while they comments from the side on the things he says. He also came up with this story about having a crush on Caleb on the spot. What a talented little man!
Additionally: This definitely isn't purely a "used to" thing. Veth/Nott reacted quite strongly when she thought Beau had a crush on Caleb, even seeming a bit... Aggressive? But she immediately calmed down when she realized that wasn't the case. And with her reluctance to go back to her old life and certainly not wanting things to be exactly the way they were before, combined with her devotion to her husband and son... I have no idea how things will play out there. I do feel like she will prioritize the happiness of Caleb, Yeza and Luc(Luke?) over her own crush, so given that Caleb def doesn't seem interested and she is married with a child... It seems more likely from that standpoint that she will not, say, leave Yeza for Caleb. However that crush probably has and will make her rethink a lot of things. Not to mention that Sam is an agent of chaos.
But, then again, she does have some strong maternal feelings towards him, and that must make her incredibly conflicted and confused. She definitely, especially towards the beginning, really leaned into that maternal role. But things have slightly changed over the campaign, though her devotion to Caleb hasn't. She could continue to focus on "parenting" Caleb, or reevaluate their relationship. I don't know. I have no idea where this is going to go. I do think that, especially now the crush is out, she will be forced to rethink her relationship with Caleb.
I noticed hints from the beginning tbh. It doesn't help that Liam and Sam have hella good "stage chemistry" for lack of a better word. You could also argue that Caleb is just better at hiding it than Nott, because no one has gotten him drunk enough to say something like that. As evidenced here when Beau and Nott were drunk themselves
As funny as this was, I have to say that it's not going to end well if Nott goes behind her back and "does some work". She says "this isn't going to change anything between the three of us, right". Yet, she could end up doing so if she does. Seriously, I hope that she DOES NOT "do some work". if she does, she's breaking Beau's trust in her, and that is NOT easily gained. Plus, I can understand why Beau is acting this way: she's not sure if Jester thinks of her the same way she does; she's uncertain, thus she's quick to assume it's not worth pursuing. If anyone is going to "do some work", it needs to be Beau herself. No one else should be doing that. But it's up to her as to whether or not she even CAN.
