I was just about to order a new dryer when I found your video. OMG! thank you for saving me £300. Spent 3 hrs cleaning it with my other half. Nothing to lose by having a go.... It's working so must have done it right. Just need to test a load in it now.

Great video. Had to replace a fused interference/suppressor and a broken heating element in my Beko today. Took the opportunity of cleaning out the dirt and fluff thoroughly - as I thought! Then I watched this video! I now have to take it apart again to do all the bits I never realised were there! Marvellous video, great production, lighting, sound and expertise. Comprehensive links to parts, chapters etc. One of the most professional videos on here. THIS is what TH-cam should be all about. Congratulations. Subscribed. JC, Ireland.
Very helpful video, saved me a fistful of dollars. I found a bucket load of fluff below my pump and the float appeared to be jammed. Cleaned it all out, the drain pipes, the fan blades and de-dusted everywhere. Our dryer has never been cleaner. I know my wife will be very happy. Thank you.

Thank you!!! I had noticed my beko not drying as effectively as it previously did; thus went looking for help on youtube. I really appreciate the close attention you have given in this vid. I pay close attention to clearing filters regularly, but guessed that some grimy stuff had made it elsewhere in machine. I now feel much more confident giving my drier a good servicey-clean before it stops working altogether. Cheers from a kinda hands-on woman in Australia.

Brilliant video. Thank-you very much. Had a very leaky dryer....floor getting soaked every cycle. Saved me £250 for a new dryer or whatever the cost of a service. Easy to follow. 2 hours is all it took thanks to the clear instruction. Only thing I struggled with is getting the pump back in 😂 it's a tight fit. Pulling the hoses out the side worked a treat.

Thank you so much for the video. Yesterday i discovered huge leak underneath my Beko condenser dryer, accumulated for months. Always cleaned the filter but never so thoroughly as in the video, machine is 5 years old. Thanks to your informative and detailed video I built up my confidence to disassemble it today. Hi there, for heat pump dryers, if you use a drain hose instead of the tank, would you still have water leakage onto the floor if there is a lint blockage in the pump system? Can the drain hose themselves get clogged?

You mentioned the condense pump will run for a few minutes every so often to drain the tank and pump out. Do you have any more firm details on the frequency the pump will run, and how long the pump will run for when the float switch is held on? I’ve a slightly different Beco condenser dryer, b3t41011dw, that is having issues pumping out through an external waste pipe, and not to the drawer tank. Pump runs fine when bench tested.
I have a Beko very similar to this in a cabinet in my kitchen. After a couple of years use it now seems to let out a lot of condensation / wet air, seemingly from the back of the machine. Any idea what might be going on? Clothes still dry and the tank still fills up relatively normally.

More than happy to help you this looks like it's a condenser tumble dryer. the first thing that you will need to check is that the filter and ducting system is all clear, then I suggest you take out the condenser unit take it into the garden and give it a flush through with a hose pipe on both sides to make sure all the fluff is removed as this is what condenses the warm moist into liquid so it goes into the collection chamber then you want to make sure the pump system is working correctly. If none of these cure the problem you will have to start looking at the heating system the heating element on this tumble dryer has a hi low heat setting you want to do a continuity check on the element to make sure it is not damaged. These two videos should assist you in maintaining it th-cam.com/video/ADPbjb_UOIw/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/Z8FNiTUWBAA/w-d-xo.html @PedroJaimeObrien please remember to subscribe to our channel as that really helps us th-cam.com/users/shortse432SAb2g08 Thanks, Paul 👍
@@PedroJaimeObrien what you really want to be doing is checking how much wattage is being pulled by the appliance. If you watch this video this is a cheap item that you can buy that will automatically detect whether the heating system is working correctly. If the heating system is good then you have a problem with the condensing system. th-cam.com/video/NjEa_KZGWaQ/w-d-xo.html it will really give you an understanding of what is happening with your dryer on your model. You should be pulling 2.2 KW if it is not pulling this and only say pulling 1300 then the heater is only working on half power. If you need further help use the contact us page and send me your telephone number
It all depends on where the noises coming from the common faults are the front lip of the drum is scraping on metal because the pads are warn, it could be coming from the back bearing and shaft you need to inspect this or on summer occasions it can be coming from the fan assembly
Hi i have sent an email with a question on 15th, 17th and lastly, now on the 22nd. It says we will answer it shortly. Can you please explain, how long is shortly. Awaiting a reply.
I just saw the message coming through on TH-cam, but because I don't have a name, iam unable to search the emails that I've received. more than happy to help you immediately and apologise for no one responding to you but can you give me a name that you attached to the email so I can find the question?
Had countless issues with dryers over the years, yet I've rarely ever seen repairmen from Currys/etc ever take the time to do this basic cleaning. Foe me they've always come in & blamed a leaky door, tick a box, order a part that takes weeks/months to arrive, fob it off to the next rapairment....who more often than not find a different issue/wrong part. My god I hate dryers. Stopped paying for any warranties once the free ones run out from now on. Such a waste of money & hassle
Thanks for the visit As an ageing appliance engineer, my expertise lies more in the domain of domestic devices than in IT, resulting in a limited understanding of TH-cam video optimisation. my hoover tumble dryer worked well but I noticed the plug has melted through the extension lead! Do i just cut the plug and replug with a new one or do I replace the full plug?
You should NEVER use an extension lead on a dryer it's a serious fire risk hence the plug melting.
Thank you, little pipe was the issue
Glad it helped. I'm really pleased the video was helpful to you. Could you do me a favour and take part in a poll I've made about the lifespan of appliances? You just need to tick one of two boxes. It will only take about 10 seconds. This might help us improve how machines are made in the future😇
Here's the poll question: www.youtube.com/@How-to-repair/community
Also sharing will get more people to participate and we will have a greater impact with the manufacturers thank you for helping.
Thanks for this vid, it helped me a lot with my machine!

my hotpoint tdc30 is taking a long time to dry bedding and blankets what could be the problem
These two videos should assist you in maintaining it

@@How-to-repair ive cleaned the filter and emtied the water tank and the low heat left blankets a little bit damp after been on 60 mins of drying
@@How-to-repair my creda 37761 dryer is making a scraping noise when I start it up do I have to remove the back panel from it to fix it
It all depends on where the noises coming from the common faults are the front lip of the drum is scraping on metal because the pads are warn, it could be coming from the back bearing and shaft you need to inspect this or on summer occasions it can be coming from the fan assembly

Thank you
Thanks a lot for your comment and glad it helped!
Good man!
Thanks for the visit As an ageing appliance engineer, my expertise lies more in the domain of domestic devices than in IT, resulting in a limited understanding of TH-cam video optimisation. Consequently, my videos might not reach their full potential due to these IT constraints.
Nevertheless, they offer invaluable aid to those who encounter them. Your support in sharing our channel on social media would be immensely valued. By disseminating our content, you enhance our visibility and contribute towards addressing the pressing matter of appliance wastage. In turn, you play a role in averting numerous machines from facing an untimely end in the heavenly scrapheap of appliances. Thanks 👍
