$60 pizza is criminal.
You can bring your own water bottle and get water out of the soda machines to refill.
Also, there is a huge seating area above Moe’s and Cleetus’ Chicken Shack, so if you are having a hard time finding seating at some of the nearby dining locations, try going up there.

Hi Traver, QUESTION for you: what happens for my family’s place in ride wait lines when I am traveling in a wheelchair? I heard being handicapped at parks gets treated like a Fastpass. Can you please consider the parameters of the programs about this, and maybe do a quick segment on what it means at Disney and Universal to make use of their handi-programs for this? Great video, can you do CityWalk next for anyone looking to leave the park for lunch. Will be visiting in Aug and don’t know what the options are and what’s good and what I should stay away from. 😁🤙🏽
Unfortunately, I won’t be back up there again until September. But it’s a great suggestion. We need to do this with Downtown Disney as well. We usually focus on in-park content, but both of those places have excellent out-of-park options too.
I haven't been to universal studios in a long time. Do they have maps at the park like Disneyland?
Only two spots worth the price IMO is the restaurant in HP-land and the new-ish restaurant next to the JP ride. Both aren't bad. Or, just eat at IN-N-Out near the park on Cahuenga before or after you visit the park.

Can we like pay with cash inside of the park, for like the food and things like that, or do I need a debit/credit card?
bring both. Cash is accepted at most places but sometimes they won’t accept cash
We’re coming over from England next May, I looked into the Toadstool cafe just the other day and there’s a reservation page online now that opens between 7.30-9am, fastest fingers first. We’re going to take advantage of jet lag and get an early pass into Nintendo land and hopefully get a slot for the cafe!
That’s great to know! They were using paper in March, but it’s been awhile so I’m glad it’s moved online.

We just got back from universal and the lines for food were crazy! We went straight to the studio cafe and got grab and go food for the kids in 5 minutes. Still haven’t been able to eat at the cafe in Nintendo world. always booked 😢
Yeah, that one is a toughie. Honestly, while the food is good, it’s not worth the hour wait even WITH a reservation.
If they ran it like an actual full service restaurant, where your reservation allowed you to check-in and wait 10 minutes until you get called back it would be better.
As it stands, waiting in line to order quick service style is not how I want to spend my time in a theme park.
I would love if you did another video ranking what your favorites are when it comes to taste. I would be up for you using the same footage with a voiceover.

I wasn’t really looking unfortunately. I don’t think the Transformers ride ends in a gift shop. They might have some in the main Universal store though.
I’ll look into doing a merch guide on my next visit.

How much of these restaurants and snack places are open during hhn
Not very much. Mostly upper lot stuff if I remember. Minion Cafe for sure is. That’s where I ate last year. I think the Mexican place is open too for sure.

Can you go in mario world in the morning get a reservation at toadstool cafe leave the land and come back in to eat at your reservation time?
Yes. That’s what we did. Someone else commented that reservations might be online now. So if that’s the case, you won’t even need to go into the land to get the res.

In your opinion is Butterbeer better iced of hot? We plan on getting both but wondering what your thoughts are! Do you recommend staying in the park for food or just grabbing food from City Walk? Thanks for an informational vlog!
Amy says hot. But she likes hot drinks. I prefer frozen, but I like Slurpees. Hot, Cold, or Frozen, it’s really up to your preference.
I’ve only eaten at Toothsome in the CityWalk and it was very good.

What does the Butterbeer taste like?
Amazing goodness! So hard to describe, but the base flavor is butterscotch. That description doesn’t do it justice though.

Great stuff! Do you know can you take water bottles inside a backpack? I saw in your video there water was quite pricey.
Should be able to no problem. You can also get free cups of water at any restaurant if you don’t want to carry one around.

I saw a lot of people carrying backpacks in this video so I was curious. We are going Thursday and it’s been a scorcher here heatwave status.
@@HeyyWhyNott20 Yeah, it’s pretty hot. Stay hydrated. I don’t usually carry a backpack with me, but my wife does at Disney and water bottles are fine. I can’t imagine Universal is any different.
It’s not a sporting event where they don’t allow opened beverage bottles.
You should do Six Flags Magic Mountain video one day alone or with your wife you could spend the night there an a hotel👍📲🎡🎢🏨
So toadstool is an hour wait even when you have reservations? !
If it’s still that way now, a year later, yes. I think we didn’t actually get our food until the 90 minute mark when we went.
And the line was just as insane when I filmed this in July I think?
Haven’t been back to SNW since then. So can’t speak to line now.
I should be updating this video for 2024 mid-February as that’s when I’m going next. So will provide an update on the line situation then.

Geeez….looking at each menu board it seemed like Atleast 25-35% of everything is sold out!! The Minion stand pretty much had no point to be opened with nearly half or more being sold out. What’s going on??!!

I’m sorry … but the foods look disgusting. And even more painful at those ridiculous inflated prices. If wasn’t for my kids wanting to go to universal studio badly this winter, I would avoid like the plague! 😖
