If mate 30 pro was google services and gpay i defenetly chose it. Can is ask? when you take portrait selfie on nova 5t with original filter, the background are not blur or thats a problem on my phone.. And second when you tak selfie with flash, it is normal to have a rounded light around your photos?
Both amazing phones but i have a 2017 flagship from huawei and i don't really want the nova 5t as it may be a downgrade so i may go for mate 30/30pro but both nice phones.
I'm hoping that Vodafone Spain soon have it... For me it's not really an option to pay €1099 up front, I'd rather pay €46 per month for 2 years to Vodafone.
There is no mind-blowing difference in photo quality to my opinion. Looking the price tag and design, Nova 5T is a clear winner. I'm a bit tired of curved screens, don't like Mate 30 Pro back design either.

The comparison itself is pointless. You are comparing a high-end with Leica technology with a mid-end and not Leica. So, camera test here is irrelevant. As a mid-end user, I will definitely buy the Nova 5T and I love editing pics. I do not use Zoom on phone, if I need zoom, I will buy a DSLR. Phone camera no matter what high-end, is shitty on zoom. Phone cameras are just casual photos. The video should be Nova 5T vs Y9s.

Huawei Nova 5T is dope, but it's too delicate so I had to create my own phone case which actually works like those toughest phone cases available in the market.
a smartphone without an eco system isnt that smart , there are more to smartphones than cameras , you can buy an rx100 mk4 for half the price , you can buy a ricoh grii for half the price , sorry but for me its not worth it at all and there are better smartphones
TechMagnet every manufacturer and developer of android has had ages man .... my friends use iPhone and their eco system rocks ... their store is full of pro grade software we don’t have on android .... their tablets and phones talk to each other ... the AirPods sync with multiple devices and switch seamlessly..... the updates are fast ... the hardware is good Developers and manufacturers need to step up their game man , I’m sitting here a little jealous of my iPhone friends , the software they have access to and the eco system that surrounds their phones ✌️

megapixels are not everything. But well that would be a nice test !
The 5t doesn't seem that far off for less than half the price brand new.
True, just for low light and zoom and 4k 60 i would pick the mate. but for casual fotography the nova isnt bad for the price !

Both phone are beast and killer flagship. I'm proud of this huawei phone that has been release. No regret on buying this two phone.
