My Dodge Journey has a leak from the union between the water intake and the water pipe that goes to the engine that you recommend, the water intake is new and I already replaced the league, but the leak persists
You can bleed just removing the temp sensor.. it's 1/4 turn and pour until comes out. Run the car, let it cool down, repeat and just for check cool again and check.

Would you of needed the funnel if the bleeder screw was there ?
Were should the collant temp be at when finished mine keeps going over 200
What is the coolant temperature that it should be at. My mechanic told me 230 F. Thats to excessive!
