I’m glad you had a positive experience pain wise . Mine was the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced. I was screaming at the top of my lungs the entire process, then I was shaking and shivering uncontrollably afterwards, then I went to the bathroom and started crying a lot. It was absolutely traumatizing. Thankfully my tubes weren’t blocked, so I cannot fathom the amount of pain you would feel if one of the tubes were blocked.
Wish you all the best 🌷
Same! I was in shock after the procedure. It was so intense that i creased and shouted on the bed during the procedure. No pain when it was over. Mild discomfort after... but I cried on and off from the shock for a good hour.😢
@@blondienatasha2011 oh yea! I was in shock for a few days, suddenly flinching every now and then.
But we’re all amazing women for getting through it 💪
Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm ttc for 2 years now and just had my hsg. Definitely an experience that I wasn't excited for either. I also had a blocked tube. It's devasting news. Baby dust to you on your journey and thanks for being willing to share. Nice to hear other's stories
I’m so sorry to hear you didn’t get the best news. I know what that feels like. Sending you tons of baby dust as well!
I haven’t commented on a TH-cam video in years but I really appreciate you sharing your story. This makes me more comfortable going in to my procedure in 2 weeks. I’m sorry about your results, god bless and prayers for you guys ❤
Thanks so much! I hope your procedure goes well, I'm crossing my fingers you get good news :)
omg, wow . I stumbled on your video . And your genuine tears made my heart feel so much love for you, I haven't been able to see your other videos yet, but I didn't want to forget to comment here, I'm sending so much love and prayers to you. thank you so much for sharing your story
Thank you so much for your kind words! 🤍🤍 I truly appreciate it!
Thanks for sharing your experience. Praying you have your baby 🙏🏽
Thank you! It’s a long road, hopefully one day soon 🤍
Sophie thank you for sharing your experience. I had my HSG done about 4 weeks ago. I didn’t prepare for it I forgot to take Tylenol that morning. I felt no pain at all. The NP was very gentle and sweet. It felt like having a regular Pap smear. The NP was describing what was going on and I watched how the Iodine were went through my tubes. I have both tubes open thanks Jehovah God. We’ll see what happens. The nurses and the NP told me that it’s a different experience for every woman. Please don’t stress.
Happy you felt no pain! That's great.
Thanks for this. I go in Next week for my HSG. I’m scared and excited at the same time. I been TTC over a year!!
Hope it went well and wasn’t too bad for you!!
I am really enjoying your content !!! Great quality, you have a really sweet personality, and amazing content ! I am so sorry about the results, I am sending prayers your way from Ottawa. ❤
Thank you so much for your sweet comment :) I really appreciate your prayers!
Just had my hsg today. Definitely a bit sore and crampy afterwards, but I was able to make it through the procedure just fine!
That’s great!
Thanks got sharing your experience 💗
I think of this as like a level 1 of childbirth pain and why I'm not so nervous. I am scared of pain as well but since i want a baby i knew that this be a good test run for going through birth. I'm getting one soon as well its scary forsure.
That’s a good way of thinking about it! Hope your HSG goes well.
I think the Tylenol helped you because I just had one done couple days ago and it was the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced. I did not take any meds before either but it was soooooo painful
It sucks that this was your experience! I’ve had some really horrible procedures since this and I can’t believe we aren’t put to sleep for most of them. Women’s healthcare is lacking!
I also heard and it makes sense, it hurts because the tubes are blocked.
My tubes were not blocked but it hurt like hell, its also the pressure
Just had mine 2 hours ago. It was horrendous 😭 I was in shock after the procedure. I asked the specialised if the tubes looked blocked, and she said no, the dye reached through. It was so intense that i creased on the bed during the procedure. No pain when it was done, but I cried on and off from the shock for an hour. I'm glad I went in with blind knowledge to get this done. Now that I know... I will never get that procedure ever again unless with an anaesthetic. I had just 400mg ibuprofen and two paracetamol.
I had my hsg test this morning. It's totally painless only felt little bit cramps. That's it.i was so scared watching videos on youtube mostly people say so painful i was literally shivering before test but to be honest bearable little uncomfort nothing else.
So happy it wasn’t painful for you! It’s different for everyone.
I got my done today so much pain, but had both blocked, but the dye opened the tubes up soooo painful
Hello, sorry if I missed it but how did you end up opening your fallopian tube? Or didn’t?
I had mine today and the worst of the pain was only a 3/10. I did take the max dose of ibuprofen and Tylenol right before. Don't psych yourself out.
Happy for you! Everyone is different.
How much did you take?
I'm not sure if you're asking me or the person who commented, but I took 2 advil and 2 tylenol prior.
@@sophiem. thank you! How much dosis were that? 😁 I took 800mg of Ibuprofen for a Hysterosonogram and it hurt. Trying to be better prepared for this HSG.
Mines hurt soooooo bad I pray to God I won’t need that done again
Oh no! Hoping you don’t 🤞🏻
Real talk started 924. Your welcome
I get mines done in October. I’m scared
All I can say is the stress I had over getting the HSG done wasn’t worth it and it wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected. Sending you the best vibes 🤍
Because you took all the pills. My test is this month and im scared but I think ima take extra strength pills so I won't have that much pain.
Yes, the pain meds definitely helped! Good luck with your HSG, it sucks to have to go through it but it will give you answers!
Iam going to I don't know what to do
Think of it as a necessary step forward in your journey of having a baby! Looking bad, there are worst things. You’ll do great 😊
It's vry painfull test?
It can be, everyone’s experience will be different. I know for me it wasn’t much more than period cramps for most of it. The pain increased a bit when they tried to push the dye through my blocked tube. What I would say is, don’t go into it being afraid, just prepared!
How many months take your pregnancy after hsg test
I'm on my 4th cycle after the HSG and still not pregnant - here is the latest update on my infertility journey, if you're interested: th-cam.com/video/lSowKGhqsmE/w-d-xo.html
How much does this proc cost
I’m in Canada and the HSG is part of public health, so it was free.
$300 cost me like 3 days ago
