Tinubu Inaugurates Wuye Bridge Linking Two Abuja Districts After 15 Years of Abandonment

- One of the banes of development in Nigeria, is the menace of abandoned projects. This has plagued the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja too. But the current FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike is changing the narrative. The Minister has delivered the Abuja Metro station, which was abandoned in 2020 and 15-year-old abandoned Wuse-Wuye link Bridge in Abuja, awarded at the cost of 34 billion naira, but took 74 billion naira to complete. At the inauguration of the project, President Bola Tinubu and the FCT Minister described it as another step towards changing the narrative of infrastructure development in the country.

Wike fixed the roads linking the metro and facilitated the payment for trainings of rail employees

Are you not even ashamed to come here and say a minister constructed a railway but no acess roads. How is the railway meant to be used then? That means they didnt have the masses in mind when they constructed the railway. Secondly goverment is a continue. Its a great acheivement that asiwaju and his properous team have taken up all the abandon projects in abuja and are completing while also introducing new projects. Imagine complaining that federal government Ministry of transportation built a train and train station for you and didn’t build All the roads leading to the train stations when its supposed to be built by the state Lagos, Abeokuta, Kano etc. as the case maybe in this case abuja
The wuye Road was ongoing during the last regime. Wike oniy completed the remaining 20%

If the Government make life more comfortable for its people, they would love their Government . One can not understand why any government will not provide electricity, Clean Running water and good roads. The irony is that Nigerian has the means and funds to make these happen all these years, but because of bad leadership Nigerians has left to suffer unnecessarily. Why can't all these developments be also done in other States in Nigeria?

@rotimikayode1072 Nigeria is almost 64 years old. Mr. Bath Nnaji of the geometric power plant in Aba in Abia State said with adequate financing, it will take about 2years to set up a similar power plant in any part of Nigeria.
