Colorado Mountain living is more expensive but worth it! For the increase in quality of life and mental health ❤ Thanks Sean for helping us make our dreams come through, in finding our mountain home. Thank you Jesus!
Ski passes have lots of options, especially if you buy in the Spring. If you only plan to ski a view days, you can get the multi-day passes for less than $400. Or, you can go for the more limited passes that block out the holidays (probably don't want to go skiing those days anyway) for around $550-$650. You could marry one specific ski resort for around $400. So, there are less expensive options. But, yeah, the full unrestricted passes are really up there - especially if you have a family.
@@SomewhereInColorado Yeah, they said the distance needed to be 100 feet and the amount of dirt to backfill a "mound" septic system was the main cost factor
You forgot to mention insurance. The Denver metro tops the list for thefts and uninsured motorists, so car insurance is expensive. Property insurance is also expensive due to increasing natural disasters and in some places in the mountains, it’s tough to even find a company that will insure you. But I will say that if you find the food lackluster, I think you’re going to the wrong places!
Dude the people that say the food is bad go to Hacienda colorado once and base their entire opinion on it. Denver has excellent food all over the metro area
What is the reason for such high home prices we live in California we are in Colorado 5 times a year because our son loves there and the prices are outrageous they are not any cheaper than Cali and our Homes have more curb appeal. We have looked for years but it doesn’t make sense to take all our equity and get less than what we have in Cali

Good info in the video. Very informative. Been wanting to make the move to Colorado. Reppin the Youngstown - Idora Park tee is awesome

I was quoted $60K to have a septic system installed on my property in Florissant, CO. I think ill get a second estimate from someone else.
That seems like a lot always get multiple quotes. Did you have some crazy variable costs from that contractor, like access or distance?

I looked at a tract home 2500 sq ft it was going to be over a mill for a tract home and they wanted 7,000 to put a tub in the master bath …hard pass!

You answered your own question. Don't convince yourself because of family and move to Colorado.
Emissions depends on the county - it is not statewide. Also EVs don't pay that fee.
I thought taxes were increasing like crazy?
