    Her snacking behaviour after dinner is something I experienced when I was restricting. Seems like she is soo hungry, but won‘t eat a real meal. so instead she goes crazy on these low calorie snacks 😞 Makes me so sad, just EAT. I really don‘t know how she has the energy for her workouts. I would be so hungry and tired.

    • @ktspanksthebass09

      Especially because she eats so low calorie at night, I would never be able to skip breakfast and go straight to working out for a few hours. I don’t know how she doesn’t pass out

    • @iambored678
      @iambored678 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Seriously! It gave me flashbacks (and not the good kind) of when I would restrict throughout the day, thinking I'm embodying health, and then at night I'd eat a fuck ton of food. Like probably an extra thousand calories

    I remember from her video last time- she's obsessed with EGGS. It's always about egg whites. The one thing she did with that breakfast death taco. I thought I was going to lose my mind. She looks like she's been restricting from that thumbnail, too. That is concerning.

    Also just to reaffirm, I've been plant-based over 12 years and tried different variations of it including fruit based before. In the past I was absolutely under eating and didn't see the real effects of the raw till 4 lifestyle until I started OVER eating in calories. I swear the more carbs I can stuff in my system the faster I lose the fat. If you are having problems with this lifestyle - EAT MORE!! I'm never hungry, always satisfied, never have cravings, always have energy. I started back on rt4 in October and have gained 15 lbs (something I've been trying to do for years) but have maintained that weight while my remaining belly fat continues to dissolve. Not completely flat yet but getting there!

    The answer to purple in nature:
    ube (pronounced ooh-bae) is a purple yam that is a staple in Filipino desserts. A relative of sweet potato, yuca, and taro root, ube has dark, purple skin and vibrant purple inside.

I grew up with allergies of tree nuts, kiwi, celery, carrots, beans, chickpeas, sesame… went to the hospital a couple of times. I’m 23 now and have been working my body up to it ( mind over matter - no fear ) and now I can eat avocados, carrots, and now working on almonds. This is so huge for me because I’ve always wanted to be vegan but it was quite impossible for me to get enough calories before, but just know that if you have allergies, you CAN get rid of them.

    After binge watching these videos for a couple weeks..I can see what mistakes were all making...and why we're so sick..yo yoing..obese..etc. Everybody's been taught to restrict and over exercise..then binge..exercise more on and on it goes. Good job Freelee for persevering in delivering this message.

    It’s so sad to see... she’s so tiny now and so restrictive. Egg white omelettes? It’s 2021. Surely we are past that!
    Also can’t she see how restrictive this is? 900+ calories AFTER dinner, which is almost 50% of her entire days calories (which are def too low!)! And so many people are seeing this and likely trying it. It’s sad. Cassie, girl, eat enough good food. Your body will thank you!

    Any advice for someone interested in going vegan, but who also struggles with BED/emotional eating? I have learned so much about the vegan lifestyle and i'm wanting a change for many reasons, but I have almost no trust in myself when it comes to food and my diet😭

    • @samarascorner2235
      @samarascorner2235 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      As someone who's been vegan for 6 years and struggled on and off with disordered eating and binge eating, it's not all about the food. Going vegan helped me in so many ways, but the disordered eating habits can manifest on any style of eating since it's psychological. It took me about 6 months to transition to veganism, and during that time I did binge on dairy foods a lot, like milk chocolate and all that. But once I really made the ethical connection, animal byproducts just stopped looking like food to me. Imagining eating meat or an egg or drinking milk seems as strange to me as eating a piece of carpet 😂
      So be patient with yourself and take care of your mental health first and foremost. Educate yourself on the ethical side of it all and focus on compassion for yourself, the animals and the planet. You might still binge on a vegan diet sometimes, I've been there. I try my best to always fuel myself correctly and listen to hunger cues to avoid restrict-binge - cycles, but there's still psychological triggers sometimes of course. So when that does happen, I might binge, but then it's on vegan food.

    On noom, I was on a similarly restrictive diet and I would have quite strong mood swings and serious depressions. I was trying to do a similar weight journey to Cassey, and I could identify her along because we were both 132 pounds (she got down to 119 and I got down to 122 and then went back up) and in that space where we weren’t thin girls (we weren’t fat either). If I can explain my feelings about being my size, I would meet a thinner woman and immediately feel less wanted and more worthless. I know it is difficult for a fitness TH-camr to teach you how not to be neurotic about food, but it seems following a similar path just made me miserable.

    Hey freelee would you talk more about lemon water? I personally love starting my day with it even though I'm on raw till 4 and do a lot of fruit. I don't do it to restrict but it feels more hydrating than plain water and does get my digestive system working first thing. I also use a lot of lemon or lime with my cooked meals because I feel like it helps me digest better

      @@honeysuckle860 I've done raw till 4 before years ago that's why I'm back now. There's nothing better that I've tried. Most recently I've been raw till 4 since October last year. I would absolutely recommend all of her books. The negative reviews are ALWAYS from people not correctly following the program!! The biggest factor for me is making sure you GET ENOUGH CALORIES!!! Almost everyone that struggles with it is under eating which is what I did the first time I tried it. Good luck on your journey!

    • @missmermaiid
      @missmermaiid 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah like freelee said you can let it melt, or you can just eat the fruit whole instead! But if you like it all blended, you can blend it all together and let it sit out for a couple minutes to let it come to room temp. I like doing that too!
