The thing that impressed me the most is your eye sight, to spot those snakes at a distance, in the bush, walking from sun to shade...your eye sight is still better than perfect!👍
Crikey! This is scary beyond belief. You're one brave dude! I was once almost Boomslang bait while holidaying in Natal. I had been driving with my driver's window down (Natal heat and no aircon back in those days) but as I had arrived at my destination, I rolled my window up in anticipation of getting out of the car. The next thing I heard was a dull "thud" on the window" - I turned to see WTH and it was a Boomslang who had just lunged at me with such speed and force it left a streak of venom on the window. Literally 20 seconds earlier and I would have been bitten in the face by this snake. Too damn close for comfort.
i didnt think boomslangs were this common . now i know why as they were all at this guys house. incredible video i have never seen anything like it before
I can’t wait for part 2! What an amazing job of keeping your cool under very stressful circumstances! Thank goodness they called you and didn’t just kill them all!!
Looks like I'll have to get a GoPro as well, I get called out a lot to remove and relocate snakes. In my area I get called out a lot for Cape cobras, boomslang, molesnakes and a mix of other species like whipsnakes, housesnakes, eggeaters etc. I'm just glad we don't have mambas in the Western Cape South Africa. Good fun you had there. Hope they made a stiff donation.

Holding my breath… this was extreme and amazing. I was tempted to set down my tablet and stand across the room as I watched. I don’t even know what a boomslang is! Going to look it up next!
It's amazing how placid they become when they are together in the bucket. The first snake was writhing when alone. Now they're all bundled together and only the one snake trying to escape 😂❤.

That's intense especially given how venomous boomslang are!😮
Potency of the venom is not the same as danger of handling. Boomslangs are about as easy as it gets. You have to try really hard to get bitten.
