The M2 won for me because it can put a smile on your face while being easy enough to live with but the 750s is so special. Hard to compare because they both do different things so well
You can’t compare them really as the Mac is leagues above in terms of performance, but the M2 is definitely better value for money and probably much more reliable.
In the UK a Supercar is just wasted , a toy for high days basically. A normal performance car like the M2 can give very similar thrill's , is far more usable and practical. The Performance car breed is as diverse as modern society ( someone said ).....Starting with : warm hatch , hot hatch , hyper hatch , Super SUV, Super saloons , Sports cars , Supercar , Hyper car ~ So we don't need Supercars / Hyper cars but they deserve their place at the top of the Performance car tree.
Surprised how out of sorts the M2 got on that country road. The M2C has always had a rep for being spikey in damp or wet conditions and now I see why! McLaren puts its power down well for 2 wheel drive and all that Bhp
Tell me where on a public road in the UK you can legally enjoy the 750s to its full potential? Ok same could be said for the M2 but at least you could get a couple of passengers in the back and it’s a much better all rounder! Surprised you was fighting for traction in the M2, surely the 750s had better tyres? I think in real world conditions the 750s is never really going to lose an M2 unless it’s in a straight line! I’m from Stockport so know Alderley Edge well, never seen any ‘spotters’ on that roundabout before though 😂😂
Had a 720s for a bit ...in the real world I don't think my 2021 M4 was any slower and a lot more reliable..I do miss my E39 Alpina which was just on another level entirely
Just so much low end wallop from the 4.8 V8 ...would leave the Mclaten floundering unless you really revved it out to the max..check out Mclaren customer services against Sytner Alpina a lot they could learn from the old timer as well
Who do you think won? 👇

Good video, switched it up.
Need more comparisons with this comedic style
Great to be part of this video, Tommy. It came out great! As far as I’m a BMW M fanboy, I have to take the McLaren 😬👀
me watching without the money to buy either cars 😢 (great vid as always tho 😂)
Are the split seats in the M2 not an optional extra ?? I’m sure they use to be .
What tyres do u have on that m2c. Mine doesn't fight for traction that hard with ps4s
I believe they are Cup 2s by the looks of things at 5:11, doesn't look like ps4s imo but still michelins
That M2 needs xdrive, new M3/4 xdrive keeps up on the b roads maybe?? But those 750s are rapid over the 1/4 mile. Need a turbo s to compete.

The McLaren is mid-engined so has a lot of weight over the back tyres which aids rear traction. They mentioned this in the video

People stood by on payments taking photo's of cars, like people taking photos of trains arriving at a platform...
