Clip gets u 2 coal and 4coal vs 1 or 2 coal from Fossil southie same with quartz crystal and you get so many more planks with Clip In your downtime between punches, just search something my load is Clip in lead, Blast from the past perk ,,Bearserker,, Saurian fight,, pressing charges,,, Saurian focus and Strike cost,, when farming.This loadout allows u to do Strom chest,,, Encampments using mostly your abilities. Fossil might be a tad better overall but I like the coal and quartz build up from Clip for the end game on Ventures you blast your way threw the last missions
I had a blast watching this live. While I remain an avid Jess supporter I’ve promoted Fossil Southie to lead. He’s imperative especially for this Venture season with the inconvenient rage modifier.
If I am going for a specific resources, I will absolutely use Clip, also clip in industrial. If I am foing all farm, Fossil is always better as you are not just harvesting by punching but also searching, roaming, searching chest, also you can use earsplitter with fossil in city buildings. But I can't say this is the best way. I haven't tested: 1) Clip with One two punch farming in storm so that you don't need BFTP and get energy from fossil. If you play resupply, there is storm easily accessible everywhere. 2) Pathfinder and full mobility: love to hit those weak points and phase shift nonstop. You will never glitch punching. 3) Clip long arm in storm in industrial. Long arm is very good for industrial environment. 4) Earsplitter in city buildings.
I just got Southie, but can’t use him in the lead yet. Waiting on a 3rd dinosaur hero.. but we have to wait until July. We only got Rex Jonesy and Southie so far..
I feel like Clip is still a better hero but that's only in combination with anti cuddle sarah (7.5 energy per melee kill) in support. Sarah is still bugged and gives the amount of energy you should only get when you main her. So like frarm with clip, slice 1-2 zombie and get back to full energy. Easy Peasy!
would energy pylon be enough to pull clip ahead of southie? personally I think I prefer clip over southie just because of the benefit of being able to get more ores/shards + car parts which can be limited on some maps. additionally, if you're searching containers, bushes, etc. the energy from southie in lead will probably be maxed out quite a bit
Yes it would! Clip is hugely better with the pylon for 2 full seconds. Afterwards, provided you're spamming energy use, Southie is better the rest of the session

46:31 Forest and Tropical biome are much better for twine and mineral powder... Less time running and bigger chance for 2-3 targets in one hit, from what I have experienced 😅
It makes sense its the same its more mats vs faster hits. You just get more mats per lvl with clip thats why i perfer that option. With qurtz being rare i would rather get more per punch.
if u r talking about ventures then u could just use the loadout beast recommended in ventures... the one w cloaked hero u rly don t need to farm just killin husks rly easily for reasons beast explained in the video, it s super fun😅

Haven’t yet got round to watching your vids on her but on paper I’m imagining having that extra sprint stamina in support could be useful At least in dungeons loadouts if you’re already running archetype havoc in support for the speed boost with every shockwave

I think Clip could've gotten even better result if you used fleet instead of Saurian Might. You already had two dinos in the support so he was just kinda there for nothing. If you were able to cut the time running to new things to pickaxe tho, I'd imagine her results would be significantly improved
I disagree. I used him for combat since encampments can be a good source of resources. I didn't consider swapping it for this test. I highly doubt it would have been a significant difference

I think if you want a more accurate test you need to punch the same # of objects, then you'll have the data on which loadout gives more, then you can compare that data to the time spent - I can understand you not wanting to watch and count everything I don't want to do that either lol. Also I see way too many Arch. Jess' in public lobbies, even in 160s.
I will not count. I think 10min of spamming is accurate enough. Test by test the results were so similar that I'm not interested in investigating further. I may do other zones

I think it comes down more to someone’s preference. Either they prefer slow-big farming (Clip) or fast-small farming (Southie/Jess)

I might but the catch is that you can offset that with glowing animals and mini games. You'll easily get enough ores for weapons with Southie

There isn't one I don't think, you can enter it at any power level
Don't believe there's a minimum, if you can't access it continue working on your main story and it will unlock.
You should be at least 40 or 50 minimum or you’re not gonna be able to do much in the mission. You won’t be able to hurt enemies.
