The company I work for is small, but we have 3 of out there hauling sand with the guys. I’ve been very surprised that everyone from the loading crew, the frac crew, company men, & my coworkers are all great! It’s been the best experience I could ask for!

I drove a tanker truck in 1998. It was a smooth bore tank. The company I worked for had a couple of neumatics like that. But I pulled corn syrup and liquid sugar. Keep the shiney side up and the dirty side down.

great video kid I used to pull pneumatic in mn from the pigs eye to mason cit iowa and back 3 times a day and loved it then the owner got greedy and things went down hill but I still miss it those were good times great video have a great day and be safe.

Girrrrl, u should check out TCT trucking (Texas Chrome Trucks) in San Antonio, they have BEAUTIFUL trucks and haul sand. They would help get u certified in their orientation. Since you've driven since 99 u might be eligible. Watch their shows on Spanish discovery channel called Texas Trocas, u can find it on TH-cam. Also Stevens transport has a sand division, they run South Texas. And u might try eagle river transport.
MYB Misa also, always check Craigslist for frac sand hauling jobs. Many owner operators needing drivers have ads on there. Also on facebook...."Texas Sand Haulers" ask to join the group

Thanks, Molly. You have inspired me. I'm just finishing driving school. Feeling so demoralized and unsure of myself. I will have to rebuild my confidence from the other side of zero. You have shown me one of the possibilities and that there are men out there who would give a woman a chance.
Darlene Young Why are you demoralized? As a new driver, just take things step by step....one thing at a tme, dont get in a hurry. Be aware of your surroundings. Watch ur mirrors alot (watch ur trailer) make wide turns, slow and steady, look up also. Make sure u have clearance above u. Always have a way out. Watch all the road signs, ALWAYS BE AWARE OF THE SPEED LIMIT. Don't even go 5mph over. Troopers and DOT love to pull females over. You will love trucking, especially with your artistic talents and awareness. You will see things others dont see.

ive been moving concrete dust for frac sites. out here in ohio pa and wv these sites are no joke. most are up in mountains with very hard to get into lease roads

It is a 2006. Short nose, cat engine 10 speed. Very special truck, kinda small but was a good size for me. I dont drive it anymore, i drove it for the owner. But its my all time favorite truck i've ever driven!!! Thank you for watching my video.

I got all my safety certifications thru orientation with Redzone but I already knew how to do the pneumatic trailers with a previous company I worked with that hauled food grade dry bulk.]
The truck and trailer are owned by another individual and I was contracted to drive the truck. But I love that truck as if it were mine!!!

Molly I have one more question. I know they recently found a new patch of shale. Do you know if they are starting to drill the yet and if so have you seen an up tick in jobs?
yes! they found one early in 2016, i think called the Alpine shale (i think) and one in November called the wolfcamp shale. I don't know specifics on when, where or how they will drill on those but I am seeing a huge amount of activity around west texas and seeing new drilling pads being prepared all over the place. The company I work for is going non stop

Karina Aragon Thank you so much for watching my video!! A lot of the frac sand hauling is going to hauling boxes of sand instead of pneumatic trailers. I think sandbox requires 1 or 2 years experience, as do most pneumatic companies. But u can google frac sand hauling jobs and see what u find. When i was just out of school a company called Nabors was recruiting new grads. They do some kind of oil field hauling. What's hard about the oilfields is dirt roads with deep ditches, mud, avoiding getting stuck. Watching ur trailer track. And also remember, i like Trans Am as an over the road company to get ur rookie year out of the way. They hire recent grads. Get it girl! It will change your life!!

I surely will make it happen, I'm looking into a company that it's hiring in Odessa (without experience, which makes me wonder how reliable it is), they went to my school but since I only take classes during weekends I missed the orientation. I'll keep looking for information and once I get my cdl I'll let you know what my decision is. You're so inspiring! 😊💪

I've done boxes. Not the actual sandbox company, but boxes on flatbed and also chassis. I like it but the rates are lower and the companies get out of paying demmurrage but still sometimes hold u up on location. So overall, the money is a little less.

@@BigSmiles214 I like the permian basin the best. Oklahoma isnt great, some people like east texas and south texas, there is some money making opportunity there, im not crazy about it. New Mexico is a pain in the butt. Sand boxes in my opinion, the companies have found a way to avoid demurrage and completely slash all the little ways that u can make money in the oilfield. Make u run day shift or night shift (u even see day cabs running)! Or limit how many runs u can do and like i said, use the excuse that its less work to pay lower rates. But ur still making sacrifices like being away from home for 3-6 weeks at a time etc and not seeing a return on the work u do. Pneumatic is old school and the highest skill set for sure.
However, running boxes is a good way to start out if u dont have money to put a blower on ur truck. U can run boxes, make o/o pay and then very quickly have money to get a blower.

I love Mac computers. the imovie program is fun and easy. I think that is what is giving that effect that ur talking about. It also has templates u can use to make ur video like a movie trailer, as seen in my video "Frackers,Truckers and Friends". Or u can use a template with different themes, such as my video "Holiday Greetings"
