Great play through. Just remember there should always be a movement and a treasure quest available. In round 2 you should of discarded the quest on the right and replace until there is at least one of each.
Glen Rudis where does it say this in the rules? It only says there are two types of quest and to discard the right hand quest at the end of the night phase.
Paul Simister. PG4 in the setup #8 says "there should always be at least 1 movement quest and 1 treasure quest face up in the row. If there is not, discard the last card in the row and draw a new one until this requirement is met." This applies for the whole game, confirmed on BGG as well by the designers. Easily missed as it only says it in the setup section and not the quest section as well.
Paul Simister No problem. It is easy to miss. I like the rule too, having the option to do both is really helpful. I love this game. You can fly through solo plays!
So if you receive a power roll but can't use it, (due to magic track being low), you can still use it to block goblin attacks or towards purchasing scrolls/torches?
Why do you ignore the “gain power” dice during the first night phase? All I see about the magic track is regarding damage...can’t find anything about why you wouldn’t gain power?
JonaBullets He didn't move twice by foot. He just moved diagonal from one map card to another. Also remember that when you move to a map card you choose between stopping at the left or right side of that card.
aww yes, so he did now i played it back. i must have looked away for a moment when it started. ive since played it 3 times now., and very much loving it!

Thanks for that. I looked everywhere lol. Only had first play today.

Glen Rudis I thought that was only at the start of game. There is an unofficial FAQ on BGG that mentions this point.
This looks like such a fun game and I'm pleased to see it can be played solo!! Thanks for a great play-through.
Thanks for watching and commenting!

Cool
At 18:42 you should have only got 1 energy back not 2. You would have ignored your first energy.
The tiles are double-sided. Why are the tiles double-sided?
The back side is a game variant called Gloom Fall. The difficult level is a bit harder.
I was wondering the same thing. Thanks Luzie Beagle!
I thought by foot means exactly one space?
It means to move one Map Card. Each Map Card contains two spaces.
Dice Hate Me I think he is referring to the first move you did. You moved him by foot twice. I think an oversight due to explaining.

Is this Danny McBride playing solo??
I have this game but no one exactly wants to play my tiny epic quest rpg game.. so I am watching this to play solo
