Wow! I absolutely love this bowl! Want to try it myself! Pardon me if these are stupid questions. I suppose you waited till the first layer of paint was dry when you put the droplets of water on top of it. Did you spray a second layer of blue paint on top of the drops of water?
After the first coat is dry apply the water drops and then carefully spray-paint over the water drops with the different colour and allow to dry over night. When dry I would lacquer it a few times .
I have watch this video twice now and I’ll probably watch it a couple more times because I am going to try and do this myself this is such an awesome bowl
That’s awesome just remember to spray the paint at a low angle to only paint one side of the droplets don’t worry about overspray on the bottom of the bowl as you will have applied wax and the paint won’t stick and can easily rubbed of
It’s so easy. After you have sprayed the droplets you let the water evaporate and this could take 24hours as here in 🇬🇧 I brought it in the house next morning to dry by the radiator.
Great result and I am your 300th subscriber too 😁
Thanks for the kind comment and my 300th subscriber. 👍👍

Nice bowl, like the water droplets very effective 👍🏻 how did you keep it looking like water drops, capture in a lacquer spray? Cheers Steve

He used 3 different paint colors then the lacquer
What sorcery is THIS?
Thanks Whutzat
Turned out beautiful but it was physically painful watching you spray paint that gorgeous piece of wood.
Thanks Steven I love natural wood as well but it’s nice to do something different for the channel for everyone.
