I have a question… I’m picking up mine tomorrow (swapping from manual to auto) I understand the gear stick fine but I don’t understand what the handbrake is for? When do you use it as when you’re in park the cars secure?

Insurance providers give you a black box that you fit to your car so they can track your driving (speed, braking, acceleration etc) so the price of your insurance stays low. If I didn’t have a black box I’d be paying over £3000 for insurance on my Mercedes A180.
Out of interest how did you find the A Class? I'm coming to end of my current car finance and wondering whether to keep my current car, or trade it in for an A Class AMG or Jaguar XE HSE.

It's basically just extra protection, it locks your wheels and stops you from rolling off
