Crikey - delving into the Aussie music area. Great place to dig and find some awesome stuff. Pseudo Echo released a 'rock' album (on the lighter side of rock) called Race in 1988. Check out one of the songs from it - Over Tomorrow or Fooled Again. Not really liked by the band themselves but those of us that enjoy the rockier side of things love it.
Omg I never thought I’d see a reaction to Pseudo Echo. Nice reaction, Jon. They were background music to my high school years until this song and the more noticeable guitar work. I knew you’d a bit of a blast at seeing the keytar lol
This is the first video I've seen of yours. I LOVE it!!! I love this version of FunkyTown more than the famous Lipps, Inc. version. This band performs it so well in this video. OMG. I'm a child of the 80's so this is my music, and this is one of the most iconic of 80's songs. The second you said you were a "keytarist", I KNEW you were going to love this. I like your personality and you are apparently very knowledgeable. I am definitely going to check out more of your vids. May end up subscribing. Thanks for being a highlight of my evening!!!!!
Scarily, I saw these guys 18 months ago open for Aha (who were TERRIBLE imo) in Qld Australia. They were so good and took me back to my early teen years. Fantastic and the highlight of the concert.
Still one of my absolute favourites! I used to dance to this too when early teens, watching this music video from VCR with my bestie and jumping up and down to it 😆. Gold!
Awesome reaction video! As soon as I saw the key-tar spin in the intro, I smashed subscribe. Information no one wants time… The key-tar (I think we called them “synth-axes” over here) and the drummer are brothers and I think they were like 15 or 16 at the time. I think the singer has done a lot of the music for lots of Australia’s tv and radio advertising. They were pretty popular back then with some great songs. They were one of my favourite bands. That’s off the top of my old man head, so verification is required.
Pseudo Echo are a really good band. Saw them live a few times and they do a great show. You should check out their song "Listening". You'll thank me later!
Saw Psuedo Echo as a young teen in Australia..they were awesome..
The best part of this version and performance is the high energy video. Every band member is 100% involved and into it! So good!
Brian and the band are awesome live

Absolutely love these guys, they are still touring ❤
Holy crap this is a random react. Bringing some 80s Aussie vibes! 👍😁
80s is always welcome on the channel! Such feel good vibes!!
@@TheWolfHunterZ Not just 80s … Aussie 80s.
Aaahhhh the 80’s had some brilliant Aussie talent. This song is fantastic!

Yes! That keytar had me envious i wont lie! This is the perfect backdrop to highschool years, or any years really!
This was a massive hit in Australia and the video was played all the time. I love this song and brings back memories of my childhood in the 80's.

Yes! I legit was dancing in my cousins living room to this song as a kid!
I love the original Lipps, Inc. version, and Pseudo Echo's energy and harder edge. Just a damn good song. I so needed this one today - thank you!
This song was highlighted in the movie North Shore.
Love this band they got good music
Christian Slater is so young here.
The key tar seemed so out of this world. Space age. Cutting edge equipment from and for the 1980s.
This is a cover song that was done in 1986, btw. The original was from Lipps Inc. and was released in 1980.
I'm old enough to remember when this first aired on MTV. They also did a song that was featured in Friday the 13th part 4 called His eyes

They also did a song called "Living In A Dream". I loved that song.
So much better than the original.
Love this one 😃💯🇦🇺❤

Good job and good live
Thank you! I love The Pseudos so this really cheered me up! Jimmy Barnes next? You won't regret it.
wow Pseudo Echo not to many reactions to them check out/get there whole Album'' love an adventure'' & react to love an adventure the song !!! 👍✌
They splashed onto the Oz music scene with a song called "Listening". Then this one, then they seemed to vanish. Shame really, they were good.
The lead singer grew up in my next door neighbours house
I danced with my favorite girl in my prom
Lipps Inc, funky town, is the original
Video starts 2:08
"My cousins and I"

Woof!
