ℹ️ About this episode:
In this episode of LivinRVision, we…ok…Brian decided to see if he could entice Michelle to like the 2022 Grech Strada-ion Class B van for full time RV living. Will the luxury and impressive quality be enough to make Michelle say…YES?

You all crack me up! My favorite part was at the very end when Michelle said, "We'll see what happens!". You are so much like me and hubby in many ways. Love your channel, love the music, love how you edit, love the subject content and love your wit! So refreshing from some of the other channels we subscribe to. Very enjoyable to watch and we look forward to a new video each week! Keep it up! :)
I love the company you’re looking at but I think I like the versatility of a pop down Murphy bed- I think that is the unity van love the huge bathroom it has in the very back but I just can’t swallow the price of either one
Good morning 😄☀️🌞, Brian and Michelle (and fellow subscribers)! Very nice 🚐, but too close for comfort. My husband and I would drive each other batty! 😳😜💜
Your review is so well done! Love your balanced assessment- pros and cons, with a little humor now and then thrown in. Thank you for putting it together.
Hey U2, we just moved into our NH summit fifth wheel we bought in Hershey, PA. We met you both as you toured both coaches. Anyhow our foray into full time RV living begins now. We love your channel, and enjoyed meeting you both. Cheers 🍻!
We enjoyed meeting you both! Congratulations on your new home! We’re sure you will have many wonderful adventures and memories with it!
I love it! Getting to and from places will be less stressful and that counts for an awful lot in my world.
I love the mobility a van can give you. Yes the tanks are small but I think it’s manageable when boondocking if you plan well and offset with going to a campground with full hookups. As a solo traveler it’s a perfect setup for me.
Huge change for full timers. You guys are so funny!!
You’re wearing her down! Haha!
Honestly though, it’s too small. And I’m a solo camper but I’d feel like I was living in something that just doesn’t have enough open area. It’s just too much money to spend on something I’d be cramped up in. Just my opinion though because many, many people just love Van-life.
Nooooooo!
I really do not thing you guys would like it for a full time travel. Like many said here, it would be ok for short trips, but way too small to live in.
Love You Guys, yall do the BEST videos.
Safe Travels.
So nice to meet you two today. Thank you. Wow lots of people and dogs!
We enjoyed meeting you too!!
Hello, from St Hubert Québec,Canada. We love your site . Michelle I do your dance with you during the opening titles. Keep up the good work. Richard.
Love that van. We love ours as well as we told you Thursday. You can go anywhere a car can go. Safe travels.
Thank you for this interesting presentation. Brian, you are right: Each RV has its pros and cons. And we all have different needs, likes and dislikes. Well, I am so happy with my 9-year-old smaller class B van without electronic gimmicks that confuse my elderly brain. Also: With rising Diesel prices here in Europe (in Germany today c. $ 7 - 8/gallon) I can still enjoy the c. 870-mile-drive to Southern France at a total consumption of c. 30 gallons. Yippie! Greetings from Bavaria, Germany.
Thanks so much for this review. Love the Grech quality. I would love, love, love if they made a rear bath twin bed configuration. I would order mine right away. Want to live aboard for a couple of years and want a bigger bath and more open feeling floor plan. I know Grech has a premium price tag, but you can clearly see the benefits/value they offer. True 4-season!
Thanks Russ. Glad to see the big turn out this year!
Love it for road trips..I have a small class c and can't image living full time in anything smaller
Not normally a class B fan, mainly because of the bathrooms but that is a nice unit! Something to think about but my gut says that I still agree with Michelle on class B’s. Have a great week guys!
Am I the only one that immediately flashed back to Mr Roger’s Neighborhood at the beginning of this video when Brian was talking to us all (in a soothing voice) tying his shoes???!!! Great video!
😂 What can I say…It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood. 😉
Great video. Thanks for always posting and sharing your humor.
It was great seeing you today at the Tampa RV show (it’s the only reason we came!). Hope to see you on the road. Safe travels.
We enjoyed meeting you! Thank you so much for stopping by.
Excellent review, very thorough job. Thanks for sharing. Looked really nice.
I bought the Strada-ion for the exact reason it’s not an Airstream. I shopped both and the Strada-ion is skating away more beautiful and plush, aside from the bathroom door. Grech exterior and interior were inspired by Lear Jet Design. It is pricey, but quality is important. Nothing worse than taking vacation time and end up in the high country with issues that ruin everything. The Grech exudes prestige rolling into a camp ground. We looked a Coachmen Galleria stealthy model, which to me, looks ugly and unfinished. But I’m totally agree, buy what YOU want and soon. I’m not sure if you’ve forward to expected 2023-24 pricing but inflation, COVID, and supply chain issues are making future prices through the roof. Good luck with your purchase, and Happy Trails.
Welcome to Leesburg, we live here. Great tour of the class B. Thank you!
Hey ! Good morning Brian and Michelle! Thumbs UP to you two.
Just say NO, Michelle...lol. omg I'm lmbo I can see the wheels in Brian's head turning!
😂🤓
Go for it !!! I think you guys have new RV fever !! Why not ? Thanks for the nice review of the unit ! 👍
Guys, you have been our airstream favorites! Ever since you picked her up at Vinnie’s (jealous) we have tried to catch all your videos. However, I believe you will need to keep Michelle’s dance routine in your new rig! Love you guys!
Hey guys, met you today at Tampa Rv show. I had called out to Brian as you were exiting the building and mentioned we enjoyed your Disney for free video and Mt. Dora. Thank you for your video's and the sticker. Be safe Jeff Peterson
It was nice meeting you!
Thank you very much for the video, I was really impressed with the quality of the coach at the Tampa RV show especially the cable management for the lithium batteries. We are in the process of trading our 2018 Airstream International Serenity for the Strata-ion lounge. (Campers Inn of Leesburg) For our type of camping it should be a great fit. We are not full-timers and can see ourselves
visiting different state parks and being able to run the entire coach without hook-ups or a generator is very appealing.
Fun, fun, fun. Choices. We’re the ones who saw you leaving Orlando TT. Sorry, we were at the RV show yesterday. Staying home at Peace River TT today. Maybe we’ll see you on the road again, or at another RV park. We love your show!
I recommend Gemini TE AWD or Compass AWD. Thor Class C 29 S. All can go to Nationals parks with no problem.
Enjoyed the tour. And it was great running into you at the RV show on Thursday.
We enjoyed meeting you!!
I like the Lounge' Version with the 4 captain chairs in front. I know the Interstate Lounge, whats simular to the Greech. We could leave the bed permanend down on a roadtrip, the front lounge gave enough space to relaxe, eat and so on. If the fridge' feels to small, just add a 12 volt ice-box 😁. As a weekend toy, I would prever the short 19 inch 4x4 version 😁.
Feel like a nice memory foam that you could fold up would be great for that bed
Beautiful van.
What I don’t like about it is almost everything is “powered”. For me, it’s more things that can break/go wrong. I don’t mind a few powered things, but there are too many in this van.
That’s part of what we like about it. When you have a manufacturer that gives you a 3 year warranty in the RV industry, that says something about the quality and their confidence in what they build. 👍🏻
Love the tour of the class B van. 🙌💕👍beautiful! I love all your videos and this channel. Thank you!
Always enjoy your videos. Great filming, editing, and music. Great job. You guys are fun to follow from the Houston area.
Sorry we missed you all at the Tampa show. Hopefully we see you on the road someday as thanks to you all we now have a camper and love it.
So sorry we missed you at the show. Yes, hopefully we can meet another time. Safe travels!
@@LivinRVision Hi you two Seen a email about your truck and camper for sale. Are you heading back to Leesburg Fl? Lol Wish you all well. Stay warm this weekend.
Lol no not heading to Leesburg. We just have a new opportunity with another RV to experience the full time life a little different and give our audience another view of us living full time in something different. We had the Airstream and truck for one year already! Hard to believe! We can’t give details yet.
My husband used to work for Campers Inn up here in New Hampshire!! The company was started in Massachusetts. FYI - I designed their logo!!🤓
I see the van and a park model in your future:) great video as always! Revel owner in CO.
I like the class b vans but what a pain to go to bed. Good video. Have a good week.
Northstar too. You could put a Northstar Igloo on the truck you have and they are awesome!!
Sooooooo you thinking bout it 🤓. You two are funny, I look forward to saturdays with you !
Check out the Leasure Vans, especially the rear lounge. You might get her to say yes to a van.
It's definitely a nice class B, From point a to point B would be great. Couple overnight stops when we're on the way to Florida to our daughters.
Could not imagine living full time in that. It’s hard enough in our park model for five months. Stay safe and warm, a little cold in Texas the last few days.😎🤓🥸
I think it’s beautiful for day use item
But that bath and kitchen prep no way😱
I think the walk way would get irritating bumping into each other.
I see the benefits going into small spaces.
I like the electric air stream you showed super nice !!!
Good luck in your decision 👍🏻
That’s just it, there are lots of RVs that each and every one of us would not like, because we all choose what will work best for ourselves and how we all want to travel, which is not always the same for everyone. 👍🏻😊🤓
I think this is the new RV. Prove me wrong. 😉
Always look forward to your videos.. Happy Saturday...
The convection cooktop was a plus. Propane is dangerous. You might inquire about normal service for the van costs. My friend had a Mercedes sedan he sold due to the extravagant costs for even an oil change. Recently I saw a YT video of RV accident . An RV pulled behind a pickup totaled. It looked like a torn up cardboard box laying along side the road. I felt so sorry for them. However, it made me think a lot about what is safe and not safe. This van you looked at appears to be built like a tank. Impressive.
Very nice, but even as just a recreational rig, two things that seem like they’d get old quickly…the wet bath and the fact that you have to make up and tear down your bed every night/day. Thanks for the tour, very informational!
Agree. Both are deal breakers for me.
Hmmm...interesting! I could see that it would be a great little weekend'er but I think I'm with Michelle here on the full-time front, I need a touch more closet space than that. LOL!
Love this review! We are trying to make the decision van vs trailer. We are currently experiencing analysis paralysis LOL Enjoy your day!
I think you should buy It !!! You can always pull another rv behind it for more room !!!!!!!!!
Hmmmmm.....very nice van, but i just cannot see that being enough room for fulltiming....but to each his own, different things work for all of us...lol. nice tour.
Very nice van and I love watching you guys, hilarious! We have a couple of pilots here in MCO who use these as crash pads, but I couldn’t see full timing in it though. But a great overnighter. Can’t wait to see what you guys do next!👍🏽
I’ve watched you for a long time and just love the positive attitude and the silliness because there are days I need a little pick me up BUT, yes there is a BUT. Full time in a van for somebody that works full time I think is going to get very small. Yes I know you are going to see the bright side and maybe you will be right but for me it’s an absolute no without a question. I would like to get rid of my solitude at some time and go to a nice class C or super C but this van is just too small. This is your home, if it was only for vacation that would be different.
I Couldn't "B" lieve Michelle said the words. Brian knows now there's a chance, Lol
Beautiful Van..
Garry and Marilyn
They are twins to Airstream but advanced with modern tech. Thinking maybe Experimental subcontractor for Airstream …maybe
I enjoy you all so much. We are from KC we will buy the bbq and ice. Michelle Do it! How fun.
What sort of sheets would you use? I like it! If I were 20 years younger, it would be perfect! But too many un-needed seats. Where could I store my rocks? Lol!
very informative videos want one.but I'm not ready to part with my ford f250 dream truck and fifth wheel toy hauler.Maybe I can have both?Pismo Paul
Did you get a chance to tour a Leisure Travel Van? They are a B+ and the best thing is no wet bathroom!! Pricy but very well made and a company that stands behind them 100%.
We have looked at them yes, they are nice also but also are bigger and more like a B+ or C. Grech stands behind their product and has a 3 year warranty which nobody else that we have heard of does. Both are very good quality. The attention to details and the things you don’t see are of very high quality with the Grech from what we have noticed.
Nice van but not sure about the wet bath. The sleep not too sure either. You’ll end up buying a foam mattress. Have you every seen the Winnebago View 24D? I think it’s 3-4ft longer and a lot more comfortable IMO. Full timing it will be stuff, for me at least.
The Mercedes chassis with the safety features and Mercedes features are the same as all other class B and class B+ regardless of manufacturer.
Thanks for sharing.
Don't do it! You are sitting pretty with your airstream, don't go for Class B van! I don't think you will enjoy breaking camp each time you want to be a tourist, it's much better to be able to detach, just my two cents. Great video guys! :o)
Crawling into a bed is so hard. We had a truck camper and a trailer for 40 years until I finally got a bed I could just get into. You have no idea how annoying it is especially if you have any knee issues
Top of the day to you both! Wonderful review. Bottom line what is the MSRP? This unit would be FANTASTIC to drive the west coast Seattle to San Diego! SAFE TRAVELS
The van was beautiful, and you can pretty much go anywhere you’d like, but there’s no way I’d ever be able to live in it with my wife. It’s just too small.
BUT Michelle, it comes with a "string" in the shower, and what about that ice maker tray? What more could you possibly ask for? If only it had a cupholder next to the toilet? I think I'll give it a 7, maybe an 8, but not more than a 9. (if only it could have been gluten free)
Very good video however, next time more pie please.
I LOVE the what right at the end.
To small for me guys
Still watching. So maybe you said this. But that is exactly like the Airstream Interstate. Quality is as good. We owned one and traveled. Was perfect for day trips, but not longer overnight trips. Got tired of tight hallway. Shower was awful to use. And was VERY loud rattles while traveling. We love our Thor Omni Super C! Bath and half. Perfect!
Red below under Greg’s post. We all have different needs/wants. The obvious things are not something that we can’t see. 😉🤓 Those Super ace are nice though!
Oh and the quality…we’ve been through them all and the Airstream really is not built quite as good as a Grech. You need to dig deeper I to the details of them. Anyway, the van is definitely not for everyone, but there are many different situations that they serve a great purpose, even for some full timers. You have to think of personal things that you may not even think about also. That’s why we never say anything negative to what anyone else chooses, because we don’t know their personal story.
I can’t believe Michelle would be on board with class B van.
If we didn’t know better it looks like you guys are preparing for your next phase to buy a brick and mortar home and using the van for shorter getaways🤔…What you says guys? 😂 Love your channel!
No no lol
Maybe I should consider it? Where would I put Zeva's litter box? See you at the show!
😂👍🏻
You guys are a hoot! I loved the review but if I was single I’d consider it. Not big enough for two (my opinion) but it’s a beauty! Thanks for sharing!
Man, you were in my backyard, sorry we missed you at show also. Stay safe.
We are sorry we missed seeing you. Hopefully we can meet another time.
Looks great but I’m still drooling over Leisure Travel Vans. The new Wonder rear lounge is awesome.
Those leisure Travel Vans are very nice ! I agree!
I got a Mr. Roger's feeling when the video was starting and you were tying your shoes..lol
🤪😂👍🏻
Perfect for weekenders and short trips, but full time like you guys??
If you are looking at class B vans I would encourage you to check out 4 season truck campers.
Oh love Leesburg ❤️. We had a park model in the Holiday Travel Resort.
Went from C-A to a C-C then to the park model
I sold it after my husband passed. I really miss being there.
This Van would be ideal for me to be able to visit Fl in the winter months.
Thanks for showing this unit. 🚐
I found your channel and I've been bingeing on all of the videos 😵💫 I love all the places you take us, without us having to leave the sofa😍😯
😬⛰️
💞🏜🏞🏝🏖
😋🥧
🧡
Yay! Y’all are fun! Go Hawks!!
Nice tour!
or not ;) lol, tks for the laugh as always ! Cheers from Frozanada -32 last night!
Brrr! 🥶
I gotta give yooz credit, you keep me coming back every week...lol...Hope you Love mini-Vinny
By the way Mercedes are very expensive to maintain. An oil change is over $500 and brakes can be well over $1,000.
If you can afford 200k+ for this rig, the cost for Mercedes maintenance is pocket change.
Too rich for our blood for sure…but the funny thing is…when someone has a diesel truck and Airstream like we did, nobody ever says anything like this even though that is more expensive than the Sprinter van. 🤷♂️ 🤷♀️
Very nice 👍 good vibes and video
Funny! Missy and I were going to go there today.
You should review Leisure Travel Vans! I'm really interested in those
Have you checked out Tiffin Wayfarer Class C? Love ours and it's well built too!
Yes we have seen them. They are nice!
Northern Lite, Bigfoot - really well made
Hmm I have been a subscriber for a good while now, but for some reason 🤔 I am having to subscribe again.
This was a beautiful class B, a little to fancy for me tho.
BTW I like the new intro. 😊
We’ve heard that from a few others before, that they had to re-subscribe again. TH-cam does strange things. Sorry about that!
Sorry we missed you at the Tampa RV Supershow. My wife had recent cancer surgery and she had a complication today. Hoping we will meet at a campground some day. Attila.
We’re so very sorry to hear this, we will be sending prayers. We hope to meet you both some day too! 🧡😊🤓
@@LivinRVision I always wondered if you have a plan where you are going or do you just let the "wind set your sails"? My wife and I so opposite when it comes to camping. I like to just point the camper in a direction and see the country. She wants to have a plan, every campground reserved and paid for from point A to point B. Attila from Inverness, FL.
Neat van - Looking forward to the next chapter 🖖🏻👍🏻😘🙏🏻
A few things. Class B for us is the way to travel. It’s not for everyone. Grech appears to be fairly higher quality (I’ve seen a couple in person) than a lot of the mass produced RV’s. Where I take issue is the Elwell Timberline heater. The system is great until it isn’t. Elwell’s customer service SUCKS. I have a Timberline in my rig and Elwell does not do well supporting their customers. Grech should have used an Espar provided by Rixen. Rixen’s customer service and support is leagues ahead of Elwell. The other issue I have with Grech is the use of a traditional black tank. Totally inappropriate in a class B. Class B’s are intended to go anywhere and with a traditional black tank you’re tied to having to use RV dump stations. Whereas if they had put a cassette toilet you can dump anywhere there’s a toilet like rest areas and pit toilets, etc… I also take issue with the location of the control panels being located at floor height, what a PITA. Lastly, the power sliding door on the Sprinter is problematic, it’s one of the most requested warranty repair items. Where I give a very high rating is the bathroom with the exception of a cassette toilet. Grech has one of the best class B baths if not the best.
We don’t have any experience with the customer service yet, but hopefully it gets better. Sounds like the timberline product is good though.
Pertaining to the cassette toilet. You can still empty the tank into a small container that is used for this (similar to a portable waste holding tank) to empty just like you would if you had a cassette except you now have the option to not deal with a cassette when you’re at an RV park with full hookups. Cassette toilets typically only hold about 5 gallons anyway. With a bigger tank, you can boondock a little longer without the need of finding a place to go empty it. Always a pro to every con.
You still need to empty your gray tank and refill your fresh so you’re still visiting a dump station. And please don’t say you can just dump your gray tank on the ground. Not the right thing to do and one reason so many boondocking areas are getting closed. People are dumping their gray and black tanks or cassette toilets on the ground. Gross!
@@joycem2795 No I don’t need a dump station. The gray water goes in the cassette to rinse and dumped in a public toilet. As for potable water, GROSS, have you seen how the pigs treat those hoses at or near the dump station. There are plenty of other sources of potable water besides dump stations. And an occasional dump of shower water on the ground is no big deal. People use solar showers all summer long outside with none of the gray water nazis saying anything. NOT A BIG DEAL. BTW very few people dumping their cassettes on the ground. That’s an overblown red herring being used to ban the possession and use of cassettes.
Love the camper vans….but the wife does not like the idea of a wet bath at all. I could see them being great for road trips but long term camping would be challenging.
Nice van tour! You should sell them!
No thanks…
they picked some pros to review that r v. but choices tacos was a complete disaster,,glad you figured it out on your own. that van takes away so many worries and hassles plus with the e bikes coming its going yo be perfect. love you too. Pismo Paul
We just bought a used Pleasureway Ascent, on a MB Sprinter chassis. We hope that this Class B will add a certain amount of spontaneity to our camping life, i.e go at a moments notice, without a lot of planning. We anticipate that this will increase our enjoyment, etc.
Additionally, we will be using this Van as a Daily Driver, thereby reducing our Insurance/Maintenance/Storage costs, etc! I am retired so the annual mileage will be fairly low.
I've seen Class B as high as $330,000.00, which is hard to understand, go figure!
Look at leisure travel vans before you decide
