Love the tools. My question is can be adjusted to different sizes ? I’m looking to get this tool for do your self deck but I like to use for the inside to fix some squeaky hardwood that about 3 inch wide . Thank you !
Hi Gabriela-we're glad to hear you love these tools. The MARKSMAN Pro-NB tool was designed for narrow deck boards and can be adjusted from 3-1/4 in. (83mm) to 5 in. (127mm). You can check out that video here: th-cam.com/video/Gcj3EWHW0nU/w-d-xo.html
Specific to our Edge screws, that work exclusively with our Markman Pro tools, the 1-7/8" screw works with boards that are 3/4" to 1" in thickness, and the 2-3/8" screw works with boards that ar 3/4" to 1-1/2" in thickness.
@@CAMOFasteners hello I purchased this Camo hidden fastener kit(gun only) but also purchased cam 1& 7/8 fasteners to put up a small Trex deck, I have the appropriate attachment for the screws, bit in this video it seems you are using a drill to put the screws in; I am not sure how to attach the Trex boards to my existing wooden platform using these Camo hidden fasteners- can you advise what I could be missing?
@camofasteners- the only thing I can think of where I am possibly doing something wrong after watching other TH-cam videos, i currently have a battery powered drill to attempt to screw my Trex boards in, do I need an impact driver to screw these hidden fasteners in? Any other tips a first time Trex installer should be aware of?
@@yogramgram6125 Apologies for missing you! To your question, we're assuming you're using a square edge (non-grooved) capped composite Trex board. With capped composite boards we do require a partial pre-drill setup method (see link to full installation guidelines here): www.camofasteners.com/wp-content/uploads/Edge-Screw-Installation-with-Capped-Composite-Decking.pdf Using your battery powered driver drill will be fine for installation. With the Marksman Pro tool in place on the deck board, first complete the partial pre-drill as shown in the installation instructions. This just creates a nice pocket for starting the screw. Next, with the tool still in place drop the CAMO Edge Screw in and complete the fastening process by driving the screw in with your drill using high speed but lower pressure. The screw should bite and go right in.
How do you fasten the board that butts up against the house....
Hi ! Could you use these, on a vertical fence ? There is no documentation nowhere about that. Thank you !

Can you advise when to use 2 3/8'' or 1 7/8''? I would do a 5/4 dek.
