Abyss Watcher Legion descending on the Ringed City is a kick ass concept.
They'd absplutely have done that if they didn't bother linking the flame and kept going on an abyss-purging rampage

@@myatthu7165 Can't just make stuff up and say it's canon tho. Each LoC started and ruled over their own age of fire and we haven't seen them even close to their prime. Yhorm was a ruler just like Lothric, the Abyss Watchers felled entire countries, which must take a lot of planning, and Aldrich doesn't really have known feats of intelligence tbf.
Also Gwyn is a LoC, so he's probably the smartest. Lothric and Lorian just sat in their rooms scratching their arse refusing to link the fire, and that's really about all we know about them. The game actually heavily implies (in Dark Souls terms, outright says) they never actually linked the fire in the first place, they were just destined to do so, so technically not even LoCs. So there you go.

I think it is the bridge version, where he keeps breathing and breathing fire to prevent the player from crossing.
I think its the AI when you first see him from a tower when youre by a cliffside or something like that if im not wrong, and he does unlimited driveby shootings till youre dead or you hide on a doorhole further ahead

I’m having trouble believing that Midir’s strafing run wasn’t a scripted event, it targeted the Judicator so beautifully.
That was literal precision CAS on the poor judicator
Not to mention that Midir was the one of the two dragons present who remembered that he has wings. The fact that the Storm King walked off the ledge was pure gold.

If only Aldrich teleported closer to Judicator like Twin Princes, he would have had a clean victory (though at the end of the day the arrows still did their job). Also Storm King's death was hilarious, was not expecting it

The Soul of Cinder showed why he’s the final boss in vanilla. He dodged those arrows with finesse and then even style killed him with the phase 2 intro, then gywn’s portion of the theme starts. Badass

Considering a legion could have 4 - 6 thousand warriors, the ringed city wouldnt stand a chance if the abyss watchers invaded with full members. In fact, nothing would
considering that it wouldnt just be the one judicator defending the ringed city (e.g. the ringed knights and friggin midir, who can very easily cut down the abyss watchers' numbers with a single aoe attack), i dont think it wouldve been as easy as that.

The undead legion weren't only the sword-wielding Abyss Watchers you fight at the entrance to the catacombs. Though they were its main component, they had warriors of other disciplines too. Farron Dart reveals they developed and used their own sorceries.

The Farron Dart was later refined by a Crystal Sage when they joined the Undead Legion, resulting in the more sophisticated Great Farron Dart and Farron Hail sorceries. If they couldn't fight Midir underground as we did, they would probably have something at their disposal to give them power over the air. I think the Judicator Giants would have been a much greater threat than Midir

Lothric/Lorian are the second to last boss of the main game (not counting optional bosses) and while they got back up they should've been fine in the first place, if just barely hanging on.

Lothric knew exactly what to do - teleport past the archers, get to the one guy who actually matters in this encounter, burn that opponent down as fast as possible, and have a rez ready to get his tank/transport back up. Midir meanwhile was sitting on his perch the whole time calmly watching how everyone did or did not fail. Seriously, go to 1:52 and look at the left side of the screen. That's our dragon friend!
The princes had a plan, and they executed it flawlessly. Bravo!

and Gael conquering the ringed city as he rushed for the Giant, which made sense lore wise as he actually did conquer the ringed city was the most accurate moment in this video !

@@MrDibara I assume that the AI has no real conscious control over where it uses its teleport moves, Aldritch used his automatically after a certain amount of time and its meant to move him away from the player or at least to a different location. While Lorian's teleport is part of his attack move and always takes him directly to the player (or target).

The watchers have deceptively good damage. The reason they always suck in these boss face-offs is because normal watchers do nerfed damage to other NPCs. Flame watcher doesn't seem to have that issue in this vid.

Judicator: Looks doesn't mean skill. Observe...
I love how the abyss legion fight went. Many died from the hail of arrows, with only two left they attacked the Judicator with all their might, but it wasn't enough. One of them died, with the last barely evading the arrows. With his last strand of strength he slashed into Judicator, but even that wasn't enough. He was shot down by the archers behind him, and dropped to the floor. But it's not yet done, one more time all the strength from all of the fallen abyss watchers to a single point. The undead stood up with its burning will and sword, slashes fiercely against the Judicator. But it won't go down that easily, it called upon the archers one last time, before it got struck down by the flaming blade of the abyss watcher. As it died, the Archers are still there, aiming.. and took the shot. It hit the back of the abyss watcher, and they fell to the ground. Now they too, are dead. A bloody battlefield.

When Aldrich started blasting, I was only thinking of one thing in my head :
"The target is too far away."
"I'm out of range."

I actually really like the fact that Gael ingame fits his lore. On his mission, to get the black pigment, he pretty much hunted everyone down in the ringed city, so he had to pass the Judicator at some point.
Unless the twisted souls lore stickes again and it was our character who killed the judicator and Gael was able to rampage in the ringed city without breaking through the defenses.
Impossible since Gael left message everywhere in ring city so he has to arrived first and who know maybe there was like 10 judicator and the one player met is the last survivor from Gael hunt
@@the_jingo I think it could possible, because gaels messages aren't in the ringed city. They are in drege heap. He led us to the ringed city but inside we still find a lot of "life" happening there and so far no sign of gael. The player triggers a massive timeskip as he breaks the egg of Filianore, where no one knows what happened and this might have been the point where gael found his way in.

@@markopusic8258 He doesn't respawn. He dies and wakes up after some time. The more you die the longer it takes. They could keep his corpse imprisoned until he hollows. Game !=lore

Champion Gundyr, Dragonslayer Armor, Soul of Cinder and Gael runs were epic
Cindy and Gael just outrunning more than half the arrows were brilliant. Gundyr getting literally feet from the Judicator before dying was thrilling and infuriating at the same time.

When frieda fell down the first stairs I was worried that she took alot of damage, but she took none and I was relieved, then she dashed of edge, It got a good laugh out of me. Nameless king and King if the storm falling off got me a little bit to.

Everyone is so surprised that the Soul of Cinder managed to win, but who else except other Dark Soul's Players would know how to cheese so perfectly?
It's even more poetic, because the players actually got killed, because who can actually survive that hellish bridge?

What does "to cheese" mean?
A term used to describe a tactic that fully depends on some kind of gameplay feature that the developers did not take into account while designing the area/encounter/whatever. An NPC called Umbra from TES IV: Oblivion comes to a mind: she's one of the strongest NPCs in the game and basically impossible to defeat on lower levels, but there is a known cheese tactic that allows the player to claim victory easily. Simply put all the weapons around her into your inventory and then jump on a column where she can't hit you. Then you hit her with all the weapons until they break, which eventually results in her death and powerful items for the player. That is a cheese tactic. To beat the game through means that aren't part of the standart gameplay.

Dragonslayer Armor: Actually kinda Fascinating, as his shield protected him for a huge chunk of the cheese. Still took him down to his last HP to kill the Judicator

The Dragon Slayer Armor could have done a lot better if they were a bit slower at the beginning I think. Once the arrows started, the major chunk of arrows were coming from the back, and the shield obviously doesn't face that way. Kinda interesting if being slower actually could have been an advantage.
I can't stop laughing at Storm King. I was expecting so much from them.

I absolutely love Gundyr, but he usually doesn't do well in these videos, that's why I was so impressed by him actually getting right in front of the Judicator before dying, man's a beast!

It could be if the goal was to kill the Judicator. However, you can't invade Ringed City while dead, so they failed.

See, if The Devourer had just spammed his movement options while the archers were firing, instead of trying to win a ranged firefight, he would have easily closed the gap and mauled the judicator.
