MCR#5 | Suzuki GS500 | Installing eBay 37mm Clipon (Clip-on or Clip on) Handlebars & 22mm Grips

In the last episode I failed to be able to flip the risers to create clipons from the stock bars, so I bought some Chinese 37mm clipons and grips from thirdgear.com.au and in this video install them to great success.

Absolutely loving this build mate .... Keep up the great work ..... I have those bar end mirrors on one of my builds and they were a bitch and I ended up using expoxy glue to hold em in ..... I now use the ones that look very similar to those but they clamp on the bars

I chucked the same clip ons on to my mates CB400 we got going last year. They’re solid.
Coming along nicely mate. Yeah, those bar end mirrors sure didn’t work. Seemed like there was a lot of moving parts. Haha. I love the expensive but very nicely made Halcyon style ones, but they’re pricey, all billet I think. But they also weigh a lot, so they work as bar end weights too.

The rubber mounts for bar end mirrors or indicators are much better/easier than the crap metal grips

@@iRidetas I bought very cheap bar end indicators that had the rubber bung (with bolt and nut that squeeze the bung in the bar for grip) and bar end mirrors with the metal expansion effort. I managed to combine the two so I used the rubber mount with the mirror clamped on and the indicator on the end 😊 could try and send a photo if that doesn't make sense 😉
