- Today (after a long while since our last upload) we're back with another repair video. This time we have a broken Sony party speaker.
Diode replacement from Aliexpress (SS34(B) Schottky Barrier Rectifier SMD Diode): m.aliexpress.com/wholesale/ss...
Check that you get the correct package size for the replacement diode (we didn't). Other sizes will work if they have the same specifications, but the original size will surely fit on the board.

Great video! Do you know if it's possible to remove the speaker grill for cleaning? I can't find anything online.
I have one similar to this but I need to take the grill off of it to clean. Do you know how to remove the grill please.

Can you bypass this to just allow the speaker to be “always on” when plugged in? I’m not as handy with a soldering iron lol

Mine lights are on but no power on the speaker.. light on the power button comes on flashes then gone
Hey what's up bro I have one just like that it powers on and all that but it doesn't play music out of it but the lights are flashing and all that you know what that could be
Mine is doing the same thing. The light for Bluetooth just flashes slowly. I tried holding volume - and function down for five seconds (trying to reset it) but no luck. Commenting hoping someone answers your question 👍🏻

What if this chip right next to the diode you changed in youre Video is broken and doesnt work . Which chip do i need to change? pls help me out😬 by 2:08 in your video

I had the same problem, and this got it fixed...so bluetooth works and power button does thing, but I have no sound and no party lights....any ideas?
What did you put on the old diode to remove it??

@@kingmatt59081 its some heat resistant tape so that you can heat which component you want and not other ones
