    I’ve been using my everything bagel seasoning on a LOT of stuff, even Salmon on the grill. Just great flavor!

    You inspired me...Reverse sear Prime Tomahawk Steak from Milo’s Meat market. Smoked to 135 degrees, rested, seared to 150 degrees. Seasoned with Adobo seasoning snd everything bagel. Turned out amazing!

      A steak turned out amazing cooked to 150 degrees? Shoe leather would taste better.

    You are a very interesting person to listen too.
    Really looking forward to trying this and other recipes.
    I use sous vide, a griddle and Weber propane.
    Going to try sous vide with liquid smoke.
    Season and sous vide for a few hours at 128, then hot pan.
    Dont have a pellet smoker.

    Melinda’s Green sauce as a marinade and spread. Probably for chicken but could try steak as well.

    Thanks for the vid, great looking ribeyes with good cruchy crusts! I was surprised the sesame/poppy seeds were not burmed to coal in the 500+ fahrenheit skillet :)
    How long was the sear time? I guess not longer than 2 minutes per side...
    The garlic is not surprisingly good, I sometimes use 1:1:1 SPG on steaks/burgers lately, and the garlic always adds superb taste to every meat!

    • @BBQandBottles
      @BBQandBottles  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, I was really surprised too. The steaks were in the skillets for ~60-90 seconds a side. Totally agree on the SPG comparison.

    Wondering how the Claremont is still doing for you a few weeks later. Also, why not use the sear vent on the pellet grill?

    No butter, garlic, and rosemary on the regular steak?? Just curious why you made that decision since I usually see you prepare them that way. As always another wonderful experiment!! Love watching your videos.

      not every steak needs aromatics or butter basting, sometimes simple seasoning (salt & pepper) is incredible

    I have question: can you cook shawarma?
    If so, can you make a video on it?

  • @tristanp4527
    @tristanp4527 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have another question why do you use cast iron instead of a salamander

    • @BBQandBottles
      @BBQandBottles  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Both of these had a pretty similar sear on them. Don’t think there was a fever able difference between the two from that standpoint.

    I'm sure they taste great but I don't understand why you fried them in pans on a grill! Why not just use the grill? The seering effect would be so much better.

    LOL... meters, pellet grill and gas grill. Not sure this guy would be capable of cooking with a real fire.
