After his return from WWII, Louis Zamperini was tormented by the memories of what he'd experienced; Post-traumatic stress led to depression and alcoholism. What a blessing this true story has been! Louis went through so much, but he found peace when he accepted Christ in his life. Although I never received the opportunity of seeing him on earth I am happy in the realization that one day I will see him in Heaven. Eternal life comes only by asking Jesus to come into your heart and to forgive you for your sins. Louis did this and if you have done the same you too can have eternal life.
Then become a bhuddist and u will be reencarnated down to earth back

My dad, a New Zealander, was a staunch Catholic and was badly wounded in WW2, losinbg his eye. Dad and I saw Billy Graham on his New Zealand tour. Dad loved Billy Graham and his message of peace and love.

@@jelly7310 he came home but there is 2 parts to the movie and I think he came home in the second one.
He comes home and gets saved in the second one. The first one is about when he was at sea and the POW camp.

What an AMAZING story of this awesome Brave man! What a testimony of what the Lord has brought him through and had done in his life. A TRUE HERO WHO BECAME A MAN OF GOD!
I encourage every person whether American or other, to read his book, Unbroken.
The movie does not compare, as there is 20xs more that poor Louis Zamperini had to endure, not to mention the details that were not able to be captured in the movie.
It is a true story about endurance and faith to the highest of degree.
Even if you have seen the movie, you will be shocked how amazing the book is.
This man is everything, and then some, of a miracle.
He was tortured to no end, but remained to stay alive despite all odds.
Even once he returned home, there was way more to his story just trying to adjust...all the while as he was returned with major damage to his body and suffered mental abuse beyond comprehension.
The story of Louis redemption is beyond anything one could imagine.
I can’t tell you how many times I cried while reading that book.
Not to mention all that he accomplished, and then made with his life.
Incredible...absolutely incredible.

@@everydayidiot1940 he's not shoving it down your throat but this is the story he wanted to tell. It's his story. Since the Unbroken film didn't touch the heart of what he wanted expressed, he felt compelled to make sure the rest of the story was known. However you feel about it, it's important to respect that this is HIS story which he wants heard.

If God can use a simple country boy to preach his gospel and change the world, how much more can God use you. You may think you cannot make a difference, but that is a lie. God loves you. Trust him for your salvation and then go a tell everyone what God did for you!

I don't think so...he was a psychopath. He didn't want to be confronted with his wrongdoing. He didnt want to be held accountable.
He had already been in hell in Japan
