- Running Radio controlled boats at speeds around 70 to 80+ mph is no easy task!
It's alot harder than anyone would think. You become filled with Adrinalin and excitement, trying to ease on the throttle slowly increasing speed. Even with 1000ft of area to run, it gets very small very fast!
At this point the TFL Twin Cheetah is still new to me, I'm still learning it's characteristics & proper setup. The Cooling & Steering have been Sub-par from the start, although it is enough to enjoy the boat.
But I want excellent Cooling & Handling, so I've opted to install a Speed master Rudder which should help with both.
This video Covers different battery selections and a Test of my recently installed GPS.

Great job, I swear every time we go out no matter how hard we try somethings seems to happen, as BIG B Says that’s part of the hobby. Great job love your videos
I'm sure you will get that boat dialed in here pretty soon. That just flies over the water!!👍🤙💯
The struggle is real man.
Nice run, speedmaster is really nice stuff for sure, thats all i run, with the exception of my gas boat, thats all Isane hydro Hardware.Top notch.
Impressive 4s speed!, I think your right probably amp cutting I would prop down on 5 and 6 S
Philip, you must be hitting a log out there.
Great Video👍 , it’s definitely a learning curve, have you tried running your props inward? That gps radio is pretty cool
As well.
Inward prop rotation is definitely something I'm going to try!
Disable the LVC or prop down. I use thread sealant on the drive nuts.
bruh your Geiger counter is clickin like crazy
The bugs! 😆
More you go lower with strut more load you put on electronics because more prop is in the water. I sugest that you go little positive with strut and push you battery as far as you can. Than will ride perfect with less stres for electronics
Cool i watch your other channel. I have a pay n pack unlimited hydro, I watched my dad make it out of balsa kit in like 1980 or so, water cooled gas. He tested it out in the reflection pool in DC and about got arrested. I still have it but im afraid to hurt it. I was 8 then im 54 now
Awesome story! Glad you came to my new channel!
Hi, I have a brand new WFLY X9S set, and S01G gps module, but my Tx did not read and say the speed. What do I miss on Tx setting?
(the instruction manual was not clear about the setting). Please post the setting instruction. Thank you and have happy boating.
OSE 42mm 1.9 on 6s. Great for bashing. Low temps. 70s. My 4s props are Dasboda 45mm good for 55. Low temps. No LVC cut off. Oxidean sells similar high rake 45mm that are good also the red ones. Keep up the great vids.
Dang
il avance pas dommage
IMO that's a big prop. I would eliminate LVC and try again. The 180's seem pretty sensitive. Got any 42mm props you could chuck on?
You are not the only one with LVC problems with this 180A ESC similar to your situation , some even with the 120A version, on OSE's forum this topic came up , most turn the LVC off , although you did mention that , and use an external alarm for low voltage indication . The problem is uncertain but its claimed its a firmware issue .
Those esc’s are not thermal cutting at that temp. I’ve had my seaking 180’s up to 150* without an issue
Get u some china line 70c 5000 or 6000 mah best speed packs for the money hands down
I can't believe that speed for just 4s, crazy stuff. Can I ask what you use to record while you drive?
Gopro HD clamp, Gopro goose neck & a cellphone clamp on the end. This video I used the Hero9. But I prefer my phone. Clamp it to my remote & it's easy to film & follow
