Hi my question is do we know if Data only miners will have to also be at least 300 m away from full Helium miners?? Or can they be closer because they are only used for data transfer and earn HnT that way for now?? Once full integration is in place that have to be 300m apart?
Hi Akarsh. After setting up Dragino what is the next step in order to mine HNT
Got my Dragino set up, this video is outdated now as I skipped a step, as Helium Gateway can be installed on the Dragino back end interface.
Issue is, my hotspot is not showing any data transferring, the live data icon is red for no integration and I have tried to press the bug icon, it doesn't do anything.
The lights on my hotspot are showing the same as the video. Can see my hotspot on the Helium console.
how to add wallet ? most important thing u skip ?

This is data-only, **not a light hotspot**. Please update your article, because it's misleading.
You won't mine HNT with this, you only get rewards (really really tiny rewards) for data transfer!

Quick question... where do I find the Dev EUI and App EUI information so I can add it in to the Helium console?
This is usually something you get along with a device from the vendor. E.g, the sensors from Dragino come with a sticker on the package with DEV ADR, DEV EUI, APP EUI and 3 keys (APP, APPSKEY, NETSKEY). Some devices also have a way to set your own values (or read them out) for this, e.g. via serial console and AT+ commands.

How much they will mine? They will mine that 35% data transfer from the normal miner? They still will need covarage to create a dot on the map? You need to put them in diferent locations if you have many? Ty alot, great video
No it is UP TO 35%, not 35% total. 35% during Lite Hotspot Alpha and Beta is wishful thinking, as Helium only took in 1.1 million from data transfers last month. It will be a LOOOOOONG time before data transfer makes up 35%
Yeah, also light hotspot do not create a dot on the map currently, they might in the future

im having this issue where at first I wasn't even able to get to the gateway to login realized I had https instead of http I got on was scrolling through learning once I did log on but my Lorwa was red everything else green now I can't even log back into the gateway with default root and Dragino password is there a solution or reset option ?

Once the gateway is used for data transfer you earn HNT equivalent to data transfer in your wallet. This is part of milestone 2!

For the Dragino to work (make money) do you have to have a node? If so, where would I buy one and roughly what's the cost please? Thanks in advance for your answer.
There should be nodes using your gateway for data transfer, be it you own or others. RAK helium developer kit enables you to make a node. In case you need help with that feel free to contact us on our email.

There is no EUI process for the gateway!

No official statement yet, but yes there are chances that will happen.
Do the Dragino's have the hardware to hotspot mine? I know they are only speculated for use as mining for data, but could they feasibly be used to hotspot mine as well or would it require a hardware update? As well, the DLOS8's do they have the ability to receive 4G? Keep up the great video's and thanks!

I have run in the Putty : Restart the gateway-rs service- /etc/init.d/helium_gateway restart
Check Logs- logread | grep helium_gateway :
show me : Error: Config (unsupported region AS923)

Thanks! This made setting up my Dragino DLS08 very simple! "LOUD-PINEAPPLE-CONDOR" appears to be online! However it has been 3 days and I havent received any packets? Am i doing anything wrong??
You need to have a beacon around you!
I never received any traffic. There are beacons around me, I live in Denver. Today I unplugged it for a few minutes and now I have a new name, and also a routing error. Can you do a in depth video on adding your device to the console and also on troubleshooting errors. thanks!
