@@bradyisthegoatdeal1492 I don't agree with you at all. Brady got sacked, pressured, and threw 2 interceptions (should have been 4, if it wasn't for two drops by the DB's) in the regular season lost to the Chiefs. Gronk didn't help out in the efforts of blocking for Brady or Jones. Also, you don't have a TE on the field to block. You have him out there for 3rd down and Red Zone conversions. Blocking is a bonus (which he's good at) but the Chiefs laid off the gas pedal all season long and have flipped the switch. Both teams are trending upwards at the right time but Gronk vs. Kelce in this game. Kelce by a mile.

Gronk's contemporaries were Antonio Gates and Jimmy Graham. In their primes, they would be in the conversation with Kelce and Kittle. Gronk in his prime was the elite among the elite. As a receiver, his career 15 yards per reception is better than Jerry Rice and most HOF WR's. He had a season with 72 catches and averaged 16.3 YPC. So as a receiver, he could not only work the middle, but could stretch the deep middle of the field. And then in terms of blocking, he was a terrific inline blocker, and on the move as well. In his prime, he hit heights that no other TE ever achieved and no one thus far has as well, when considering all aspects of the TE position.

When the Broncos defense was the *legit* "No Fly Zone", Gronk straight up solo blocked Von Fricken Miller and drew coverage attention from prime Aqib Talib. Dude single handedly was nullifying two prime pro-bowlers at the same time. Imagine if a defensive players could sack a QB and shut down a WR, thats how scary prime Gronk was to face.
