Always remember 02.05.2014 Odessa!
If you don't mind me asking, what happened in that City on that date? This is a serious question, and I'm not a "bot." I'm a real human, from the "arse-end" of the World, in Sydney, Australia.
Remember Gonzalo Lira!
@@frenzalrhomb6919You call Australia an arse-end? I am from Canada.
If I remember right a group of armed young men (nationalists) arrived to Odessa in multiple busses and pushed on a group of people that were peacefully protesting non-democratically elected government. The arrived group put the protestors inside a building, closed doors and lit the building on fire. Fire quickly climbed from the ground floor up. People were jumping from higher up windows to escape the fire. Ambulance and firefighters were fensed off half a street away and could not get to the building on purpose. The people that were burned down were ukraine citizens. However, ukraine nationalists called them to be pro-russian.
@@frenzalrhomb6919 What I heard , in short : 46 people were surrounded in a large building that was then set on fire . People that fled the burning building were shot on sight , the others were burned alive . The murdered people were of Russian affiliation , their murderers were Ukrainian "nazi's" . That is what I heard .
@@frenzalrhomb6919 How about to make a google-research by your own?
thats a fact about the US soldiers only having experience with fighting against insurgents . I remember in the first year i saw a documentary with a pair of US marine vets who said that shit hits different when the enemy are the ones with the big guns and when they cant get air support to help them on the ground
Though at this point it's still unimaginable for properly deployed US troops to not have any air support.
@@EroPantherH it will be "red dawn" film - North Korea "mighty" (lol) forces occupy US because army can't fight without planning and warm toilet paper
US army are pampered bunch. They got their a55 covered in WW1 and WW2 by French and Soviet respectively.
Look how badly they manage Pacific war with Japan. Total novice.
The mighty US army would last a week in this type of warfare
@@annalehman93941red dawn was suppose to be chinese but china didn't like it and they changed it to north korea.
The whole US military establishment thought that wars like this were a thing of the past. That's why they focused so heavily on light infantry and asymmetrical warfare where they had overwhelming advantages. Now they are playing catch-up.
Ukrainian are such poor strategists. I mean how did they think Russia will react? I mean how is it beneficial to Ukraine to join NATO. Russia is already cutting it in pieces. How would increasing chance of confrontation between NATO and Russia benefit Ukraine?
@@mvs9122 it will benefit the political class. their families get green card and subsidies and pension from foreign government. they get nice savings in the british virgin island.
@@MudThought it amazes me how immoral ppl can be. It makes me sad to think of all the dead
@WaqasAfzali-ls5yi Pretty sure he also said Ukraine's place in NATO is dependent on them winning.
NATO invested heavily in prepping for "counter insurgency", basically a euphemism for terror bombing helpless civilians. Everyone with a conscience must hope to see the back of this NATO.
USA had not fought war with equal opponent since WWI. Even in WWII they still had air supremacy since 1942, and still we hear crying how lone Tiger tank would wreak havoc among them. Well, Ukraine is now fighting at big disadvantage and US tactical advices "If you hit hard resistance wait for air support" sound like joke
100%, they joined late 1942 on the ground, well after the the red army counter offensive and raf bombings of germany and france. Anglo’s fought tooth and nail in the western front and northern africa, tides were already turning beginning of 1942 and it was abundantly clear during the spring that allied forces were gaining ground. Although i have respect for every soldier ready to risk their live no matter the cause, historically US warfare is not impressive especially considering their vast military prowess over the years. When it comes to modern warfare US hasn’t shown anything notable, just battling insurgents with a 100k/1 dollar ratio.

NATO is nuts to continue the war at this point!
It's far worse than just a loss of face for Ukraine's sponsors though with around 2/3 of countries now watching the slow decline of the hegemony of the US and their vassel states.
Cameron thinks that all of this is "very good value for the money".

35 thousands is not enough for that front, most likely they are there to prevent Ukrainians from trespassing. Kharkiv offensive always seemed like a ruse to prevent Ukraine sending additionals forces to Donetsk while Russians develop their offensive there. If this number (35000) is correct then i'm absolutely convinced that there will be no Kharkiv offensive.

Remember guys that almost all heavy armored vehicles are transported on trains, so yeah this railway is a big deal and Kerch bridge be destroyed will literally only be bad for tourists and Russian citizens but for army it might take some defensive weapons from this area to protect oil raffineries
the Refineries attacked are so far inside Russia that most likely Ukrainian sabotage groups are responsible. I am pretty certain that Russia will see any incoming rocket or drone. The damage done by those attacks is while spectacular not serious. Even the worst hit caused only a 2 day outtake of the Refinery.
35k is very little for offensive of a brand new front…
I think they are going for Izium and outflank Donetsk fortifications
Or the Ukr have zero idea how many troops and they’re lowballing as copium.
There's an important observation to be made here about concentration of forces. Up to this point in the war, concentrating forces has been extremely difficult as both sides have had extreme levels of awareness of what's going on from satellites, from planes and from drones. The fact that one side is now successfully massing near the front means the other side has lost the ability to promptly punish that formation which augurs poorly for the latter.
Ukrainians got ATACMS now
Ukraine has ATACMS now
Yep, so crazy. Recently a channel showed a vid of a platoon-sized unit going forward and commented how many soldiers that were. For more than a year e have seen only squad-sized assaults (10-12 men), every bigger group got a greeting via arty. Now one side can't anymore, so they are gonna get overrun, it is obvious.
This Kharkiv new front could be a simple maskirovka. The build of railway to the South is more serious obviously. In fact Crimea without the Kerch bridge could survive easily . It ‘s possible to see RUAF an attempt to cross the Dniepr and going to Nicolaeiv. Ukrainians are building multiple defense lines over there . To take Odessa oblast is the real cake for the Russians. This represents a big risk but a real way to beat Ukraine et NATO definitively.
NATO are a severe fear to see that happen still this year and that’s explain the claim of Macron to send troops over there . This Russian strategy is probably well identified as a possibility and a catastrophic outcome for the West power. 😂
Russia's strategic forces, long-range aviation, cyber capabilities, space capabilities, and capabilities in the electromagnetic spectrum have lost no capacity at all. The air force has lost some aircraft, but only about 10 percent of their fleet. - Us general Christopher G Cavoli (congress in Europe April 10 2024).
10% of 10% involved in this conflict! Russia has used less than 10% overall of its military! They are rotating military constantly, except for local militias that volunteers in defending their own territory!
10% of aircrafts in the theater is literally nothing. During the Battle of Britain the RAF lost 60% of their aircraft, the Luftwaffe around 80% of their aircraft in the western theater.
The West has forgotten that war with an enemy who can shoot back inevitably means casualties due to their low-intensity neocolonial ventures. A quiet day in Vietnam brought more casualties than a decade in Afghanistan, a good day in WW2 easyily more than all of Iraq and Afghanistan combined.
It's not the 10% of total air force but the 10% of deployed
@@badbadbadcat its crazy to think its only 10% lol back when it first started we saw many su25 get shot down every day at least 2 or 3 a day.. icluding Ka52s etc...
Building the railways is a good play because it helps the supply lines massively and now if Ukraine try to attack the Kerch bridge Russia would have grounds of a war crime, if the bridge is no longer a military target and only civilians use it, if Ukraine hit it, it will 100% be a war crime.
You really think Ukraine or the west cares about international laws?
@@LucasBR702 based on recent events no. But it's not a good look... so their intention to attack the Kerch is for PR boosts but if attacking it would look bad it removes the PR factor. When they attacked the Kerch recently the Western media said it's a military target because it was carrying supplies, they won't be able to use that reason this time if Russia's supply line is the shorter route through Southern Donbas.
You are correct but if we have learned anything about the U.S. they will just keep repeating the narrative. They will simply claim it a military target. They might even believe their lies.
@@Writeous0nethey will blow it up and say it had military cargo nonetheless. The truth will be deemed Russian disinformation. And the sheeple will believe them.

When you first learned Ukraine’s fascists started this war before Russia was ever there (Nov. 24th 2013) by starting violence at the Maidan, what were your thoughts?
Horrible after learning about it
Not surprised. If there's trouble ANYWHERE in the world, if you dig down you'll usually find us 🇺🇸 there.. 😖
But it turns out Pu.tin has been warning us about this since 2007 or even earlier. Did we listen? Of course not!!
MI:6 and CIA started Maidan. Ukrainians were on both sides of Maidan. The "aggressor" here if we give a .$.hit about it is the globalists under Obama and his Marxist buddies in the EU who determined to advance their territorial control east, breaking their 1991 promise for the 15th time. The Ukrainian nationalists were "useful idiots" here, thinking this was their opportunity to seize power and push out ethnic Russians.
Thoughts were that ukraine is on fire.
"Isolate Russia" ? Didn't EU ants already tried to isolate a 12 000 km long Russian Bear Den ?
Can you include a legend that shows distances simultaneously as you place your vectors? Ty
The US can't function without control of all of the air enemy or friendly. They also depend on something like a 6 to 1 advantage is troops. The US also doesn't want any other nations controlling its internal political games. Well unless they are paying big dollars which some do.
Except for Israel

The last article just confirms what I've been saying for past 2 years. Last time they fought enemy that matches them numerically and technologically was Korea(well,Iraq had numerical advantage in Gulf War,but Coalition had better aviation and tactics).
Dude the iraqi army figures was all conscripts . The real army was decimated from 10 year war v iran that ended 2 years prior to the war. Iraq had no army

Kharkiv can be liberated from Ukrainians after Sumy is liberated.
Сумы в лесах, идеальное место для партизанщины.
Okay armchair general, calm down
They should take odessa first, then Kharkhiv and Soumy.
That's very difficult because of the topography.
They could take odessa later after securing east dniper first or simply Russia demand Ukraine to surrender Odessa oblast to them.
This makes no sense.
Making videos like the South front with music and more animation to show advances will be great !
Is southfront still available?
What happened to all the reddit soldiers?
5:10 wait a bit... there is a railway over kerch bridge so does railway end there? also why does it show as a new railway? it has to be few years old at least.
Кто-то там на Западе недавно говорил про "позиционный тупик", м?)
You shouldn't tock about railway. ALSO RUSSIA must bild underground tunnel to help Kerch bridge and supplies.
The bridge is NOT important for supplies.
Before 2019 there was no bridge and no problems for supplies, every thing needed was transported by ships and planes.
Tunnels are just as vulnerable as bridge, but crazy expensive. Railconnextion is perfect.

I think that that figure the general gives for Russian combat strength in 2022 rolls Donbas militias into the number of Russian troops.
I mean russia only wants to increase its troop strength near kharkiv to 50,000 to 70,000? Why not like 150,000 or at least 100,000 becuase you would need a lot of troops to take kharkiv city and taking kharkiv is very important.

How vulnerable is the new railway line to the long range US missiles recently supplied to Ukraine?
Very, but to waste a one million dollar missile on a piece of track that would cost a couple of thousand and a few hours to repair would be really stupid.
Not really an issue, I spent fifteen years working on UK railways and damaged sections of track can be repaired/replaced in days, sometimes hours.

Concerning negotiations - there is no easy solution because any kind to ceasefire will result only in legitimization of Ukraine government and they will still try to do problems and recapture former territory. The only way is to carve piece by piece and let people in referendum vote either for neutral region or for joingin Russia. At the end there will be some neutral small regions on west and rest will join Russia.
🇷🇺
The Russians do not have the capacity at this time to take or hold Kharkov, those two Corps are mainly infantry and are lacking in the heavy equipment and mechanization needed for offensives. Instead they fixing and deterrent forces like the groupings in Belarus, too weak to act on their own but not so much so that Ukraine can ignore them and act mainly as sources of reserve and rotation for the formations in Ukraine proper.
The main effort is still likely to be toward Pokrovsk as it is the main logistical hub, with continued efforts to take Chasiv Yar and pin forces at Kupyansk, setting up conditions to breach the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk-Konstantiniivka Line in the Winter, with Kharkov only being a realistic target for maybe Summer 2025.

NATO knows nothing about guerilla warfare.only airwar they know....😂
In this NATO -Russian war US will loose since it is the US that makes NATO whole …addition of Finland & Sweden complicates matters for the Stavka planners but is not decisive in the overall spectrum of force allocation & only will bring about bigger crush of NATO when the hammer blows are struck… At present time America is no match for the Russian army …. , a wise route would be a all encompassing conference in Belgrade / Serbia to create a roll-back of NATO to its 2000 borders …. ,or better yet disband NATO altogether and replace it with Pan-European security pact , with NATO booted out from the Yugoslav republics completely , there will be need to abolish Baltic Fascist regimes and re-establishment of neutrality ie. Finland / Sweden & Norway … This re-arrangements will necessitate radical remodelling of EU and its present ruling class would have to join Zelensky in Florida somewhere …Have a good day friends of mine & God bless everyone of you…..❤❤❤❤❤

I don't think so. Ukraine knows it isn't getting any territory it loses back.
Considering how hard they have fought for 2 years to maintain every inch they could, when it would have been better to retreat. Even ignoring suggestions to pull back by NATO, no this is not some ruse.
It's just that now they have almost nothing left and are retreating cause they can't do anything else.
