According to the Kings and generals channel on youtube which has huge following saying that Russia is losing would it be possible to review on of their Videos if you can i wanna see how truthfull they are It is a request from a daily viewer @weeb union
Contrast that with another pro Ukraine channel - Yevhenii from Ukraine - who has a small following because he is honest in his reports.
I commented back in the winter of this year that the Russians seemed to be advancing no more than a tree line or two or a couple of farmer's fields per day. Later I noted that they had stepped up to capturing two or three villages per week. Now it seems that they are taking a village or two every day. So the Russian advance is definitely accelerating. It makes me wonder if there is a tipping point approaching. How long will the Russians continue to accelerate their advance before the Ukrainian defenses collapse?

Can it be possible, that russia now acts like it wants? It attacks when its suits, it stops to reorganize when it wants and then goes on when it suits again. Except those small gains in the north, ucr just seems to running around and is happy when it at least can slow the bear a bit. Otherwise i couldnt understand this video, where russia just moves on like two weeks ago as if they had a little coffee break to reorganize after the last bigger pushs and has now organized enough to take the next chunk of land

There are also a lot of reports, that specifically the glide bombs wreck the moral. Even if you are not physically wounded, the shockwave and ground shaking alone chews up your nerves over the time. Russians shouldnt have withdrawn from Kharkiv and Izyum and Lyman regions, if they stayed it would have been much easier for them to advance now…
If you have to zoom in any further to show the gains pretty soon we'll be able to see the faces of troops taking a parking per week.
Here in Belarus, I regularly watch these updates where we look at a field being captured each day. When I zoom out on the map though Ukraine is a big country and in 2.5 year the advance in most areas is less than 24km. A Russia has liberated less territory now than it had in 2022, there is no strategic victory this year (or next). As the President said we are losing 10K troops a month to take a few hundred metres at a time.
Only Russia has to win this SMO, Ukraine has just not to lose it. Different measure of success.

If Russia gets to the river line dividing Kiev and western Ukraine from eastern Ukraine and gets stalemated there, well it becomes kind of like a draw with the Russian speaking territories going to Russia and Ukraine holding onto the Ukraine speaking territories. I cannot see Russia taking Lviv anytime soon. I CAN see them getting to the outskirts of Kiev this year. There is a lot more to happen before any of that happens though.

@@Jon60987 If Russia takes any of the important three (Kharkov, Kiev, Odessa), Ukraine essentially lost, since there is no chance that their government won't fall alongside.
This is very likely to be true. The government of Ukraine seems quite fragile. Will it fall and if so when? No good way for this to be FORCED to happen, but Russia can - and from what I can tell is - doing things to increase the odds of that happening soon. I'd say that this is a risky endeavor as Zelensky is not that competent, and his replacement could conceivably be much tougher for Russia to deal with.
