@@hardusty1752lol this is me, dropped the game like 9 hours in after launch to wait for updates (even if it was pc the glitches were everywhere) and I just started playing the save lol “wtf is happening”.
What's wild is that nearly 4 minutes of this video is effectively a single, massive cutscene in the game (3:17 - 7:00) in which nothing you do affects the story at all. You're just watching a movie for 3+ hours. Even the shooting sections are on rails, where nothing can kill you.
- The helicopter shootout, the enemies never hit you, and the game patiently waits for you to kill all the guys.
- You can technically die during Johnny's Arasaka raid, if you stand around and don't pull the trigger for 2+ minutes.
- The Takamura car chase ends automatically before any enemy can finish you off.
(None of these are shown in the video because they're just that uninteresting.)
God, this game has pacing issues and such a lack of variety in what you can do.
Edit: I forgot about the escape to the lobby, which is a section where Cutscene V lets you play the game for about 20 minutes.
I'd rather escape from Shinra in FF7 than sit through hours of Cutscene V staring at other characters who get to do the cool stuff.
6:40. As a cool scene plays out, with a couple cool characters with an interesting plot, a guy in the back of the diner materializes, and moonwalks out. This game in a nutshell.

Player from Day 1 here. My god. This game is a huge part of my life now. Under the thin layer of bugs and crashes, there was a gem here with rich story and elements from RPG that are beyond anything I've ever played before. I'm on playthrough #8 and trying different builds and runthroughs is real fun. Thank you CDPR and everyone involved who made this universe.

replayed it two weeks ago and I fell in love with it so I just decided to play side missions aswell and did cool character builds (139hours playtime)
Dude I'm exactly the same. I like to dip in and out of games too and always forget what has just happened. The main reason I make these videos is to remind myself lol
I'm 2 years late but there's another secret ending called Don't Fear The Reaper where V and Johnny go solo into the chaos. All you have to do is have more than 70% relationship with him and do some side quests (Tapeworm, Chippin' In and Blistering Love), and when you're on the roof, you just have to wait 5 real life minutes and then Johnny would suggest the solo route. Note that IF you die during that mission going solo, the game ends, you can't respawn, restart a checkpoint or whatever, you just die and the credits roll, so beware.

Takemura was quite likeable character tho. But it's cool to see other people react to different characters differently.
I stopped playing after a while because im on ps4. Just started playing again because it's finally running smoothly for me on the ps4 pro. But I was so confused with what was happening with the story because I stopped playing for 5 months. Thanks for catching me up and helping me remember. This game is pretty good when it works how it's supposed to.

maybe V died when he ate the bullet at the beginning of the game, V is still alive because the chip records V's memories, and the owner of the chip is johnny, so the body will accept him as master and dig later waste

Choices don’t matter when saving takemura. You could just go back up to the room and save him.

There's another secret ending. The solo route. Only you and Johnny. No casualties. The best ending imo. To get it you need to wait with your final choice on the rooftop. After some time Johnny offers the alternative.

I’m not sure how old Kerry Eurodyne is supposed to be in the modern day story, but he’s mega rich and it’s a world of advanced technology, he likely bought cosmetic cyber upgrades to make him look younger.
Saburu Arasaka was over 150 when he was killed, although only looked about 80

You know I feel bad that the Studio behind the greatest game I have ever played The Witcher 3, came up with a mediocre bad game like this with a never ending bugs still to this moment after nearly 7 months and never fixed!

This game felt so short
The main story is pretty short, but there's a lot of side quests to do.
Problem is, it was so buggy most people skipped the side quests
Guys who choose to play as females in rpg games like this makes me wonder what makes them tick, you know? Is it sexual, is it curiosity, is it your third playthrough and you're bored.. or maybe a combination of all three? Not kink shaming or whatever... just genuine curiosity.
To be complete honest, it changes per game per playthrough etc. Sometimes it can come down to the voice acting, sometimes it can come down to other gamers feedback on which is the better choice. Sometimes it’s down to what I feel is more “canon” in terms of the story
Protagonist is forced to reevaluate his/her life when given the news that he/she is suffering from a terminal computer disease that is slowly turning them into Keanu Reeves.

I watched this and then realized why I forgot the story. 😂 Its just lame and extremely boring. You dont ever feel conected to these characters cause all of them are so unlikable and forgettable. Its just boring and has way too much dialog that drags on and on and on.

WHAT THEY VE BEEN DEVELOPING FOR 10 YEARS ????? combat system -> bad / inventory and crafting -> stupid / driving -> fuck it / story -> chopped and tooooooo short, / endings -> same ending no matter what you do with exceptions / dialogues -> please what are those dialogs ? / graphic ? only on ultra settings and still high performance computers glitches due to the poor optimizations and the bugs, the main question here is what they've been developing for f*cking 10 years ?

It is a messy game, I personally don't mind the story - there's better but I wouldn't say it was bland. Looking forward to Elden Ring though, think it'll be special
