I moved to Ca from KC, Mo and I can tell you what I miss the most about the Midwest is the people. For the most part honest, clean up after themselves and you get so much more for your money. Not just in the homes them selves but less crime, better schools and a better quality of life. Your going to love getting away from CA !

Your photography sure has changed over the years. Your videos used to be so good. Now, they're very hard to watch: the camera is bouncing and spinning all over the place at high speed. You would do well to learn from your old videos. You need to pan slowly and smoothly, or your viewers end up dizzy and with headaches, having to stop the video because of it. You've gotten lazy/complacent with your photography; it's like you're not really trying to be smooth or nice with it anymore. You're energetic, and high energy and high speed can ruin a video. You need to temper that energy and the way you handle the camera. You're bouncing our eyes all around, and spinning us on a dime, with the way you mishandle that camera. Slow it down.

Kyfam2016, all you have to do is slow down the video. Tap the screen on the top right there are 3 dots, tap them. A new screen will pop up, look for Playback Speed now tap it. Another screen will pop up. Look for normal speed this is the speed your video is playing. To slow down choose from the speeds from above the normal, to speed up, below the normal. Repeat the steps to return to normal speed. Have a good one!

Loved it...beautiful home. Just would love a wood burning fireplace not a fan of gas logs. Otherwise I would buy it.
Patricia Burchfield it’s a simple enough process for a qualified contractor to install a nice wood burning fireplace instead of having the gas logs. If I was gonna do that upgrade then I would move the fireplace across the room and place it on the exterior wall so you could install a good foundation under the structure without impacting the basement layout and it will make for a much better living room furniture placement
I have retrofitted several homes in the past with wood burning fireplaces and they are always wonderful upgrades and worth the investment

It's a lovely home. But please don't tell us that downstairs room could be used as a bedroom. The law regarding an egress window is there for a reason. In case of fire, someone could get trapped in that room. I know some people will use it as a bedroom, but please don't suggest that it's OK to do so.

I dont understand how that many barns and the pond on are on the same 5 acre tract?
The barn is relatively small, probly 1,200 sq ft or less. The house is about 3700 sq ft and the pond is relatively small so let’s just say roughly a half acre or around 23,000 sq ft that puts ttal improvements just under the 29,000 sq ft mark which isn’t even 3/4’s of an acre so you still have a bit over 4 acres that are open to doing anything one.
So that is in a nutshell how you fit a house, barn, and a pond on 5 acres and have plenty of room and my numbers are even a bit skewed on the high side cause the house is 3700 sq ft but the foot print is really probly only 1600-1800 sq ft max

Your Scary. The mechanical room is exactly what we all needed to see. Kinda like the previous house with the very serious water leak in the basement, where you said to us all in the video that it was nothing to worry about. Someone came back in the comments stated it was a very serious leak. ( which yes it was that was a leak that had already started causing structural damage to the corner of that house. and looked like black mold got started ..though ca't be sure but not unrealistic) That house that was in the Daniel Boone forest area. That was allegedly supposed to be a working farm making the owners $300 a day, or $`140k a yr. Which that math don't add up.
I thought people in Kentucky would be more honest and upright. Guess I was just imagining things. These are the things that destroy people's lives. A home is the most important investment anyone can make in life. And the most expensive investment any one can make.
If something isn't right or is hidden, a whole family can be destroyed. People get divorced, split up well. doesn't matter. I get it now.

Hi DERP DERP DERPPY DERP, hahahha - they had all their junk thrown in the mechanical room. This house is only a few years old, so the furnace and all look brand new - but it was all their junk. Nothing to hide, but also nothing to see. The other house you referred to did have a leak, but you need to know something about how that water is coming in - in that case, there were no gutters and the land needed to be excavated to direct water away from the house - which the new owners did. it was a simple fix, pack some hydraulic cement in the crack, do a french drain on the inside and a sump pump. a few thousand dollars and you're all done. People who don't understand construction - yes, it is scary, but people who do get a bargain and fix issues.
Want to know what is scary? Renting your whole life, then having a landlord send you a letter that says you are kicked out. Do you really think he bought that rented house? No, YOU did. You bought it for him - and HE benefits. So owning can be scary, but if you are smart and not lazy, you fix things. Scary is never having the opportunity of owning a property.
Your reference to 'black mold' is ill-informed. There are over 1500 types of mold, only two are toxic - one of them is called black mold. All molds and mildews are dark in color, so you need to understand what you're looking at. And BTW, mold is everywhere - it is in the air we breathe - everywhere. Don't feed it with water leaks and you're good to go. :-)
We help people sell their properties. We also recommend a full home inspection by a licensed home inspector, which will reveal all kinds of things, so you can be informed before making offers on properties. Have home inspections killed deals before? Yes. Good. If you aren't able to handle some of these things - now's the time to find out.
If the sellers don't want to do repairs ahead of time for one reason or another, time, cost, knowledge, we can't help that --- what we can do though is help educate the new buyer and if he/she is so inclined, the new buyer can get an AWESOME deal - and it then does become a wonderful investment to turn their family's financial future around for the better.
