12:46 pepper plantation history in karnataka started in early 1970s and 1980s when Malayalee big pepper plantation owners and medium size farmers started plantation in karnataka because of accute scarcity of labour in kerala because of gulf and more of the European immigration by common Malayalees especially christan and hindus are gone from kerala for Europe they never come back ,from there the pepper plantation history of karnataka started and in kerala pepper farms are here atleast from 5th B.C because of the historical and archeological trade evidence with Egyptians and Rome , also in kerala forests it grow wild (just for historical interest ) i dont know any other fruitfull (returns ) from any other faming operations , attention to the details is important for pepper farming or devastating diseases (many) will be the result and your entire crop is at risk , only start this expensive farming if you have time ,

The landlord is saying they are using combination of plants (pepper, clove, coffee and vanilla) to get yeild of 12 to 13 lacs per acre in next 5 years down the line . Whats your opinion on this ? Is this number correct?.

He has Excellent operational discipline - So it would be great to get the Operational expense from labour and from manure and other applications/acre. How many Vines per acre ? And ideal distance between the vines , from his perspective! What is the Yield per acre to expect after 4 years and 7 Years. Thanks Karthik for an informative vlog
