I ONLY use my big camera setup for khaosan road videos.. the night markets are always done on iPhone 13 Pro and that’s why there’s a little grain sometimes. Canon R5 with 15-35mm on top of a DJI Ronin RS2 gimbal.. overkill would be an understatement for this.. as well as heavy!
The quality of iPhone is pretty solid then because I thought for a moment you also shot this on your big setup. And waow, that's an impressive setup! Canon has great color science and the R5 is very decent! (I was thinking about the R5C but got put off because the lack of in body stabilization). And yes, totally get you why you prefer to film with a lighter setup. The sad part if that at the end of the day the majority of people who watch clips on TH-cam don't even see the difference 🙈
Definitely have to check out this market once I’m back in BKK but I’ll pass on the squid 🦑 and try that pig neck in that delicious looking sauce . Certainly enjoying your vlogs as always…
@@ProjectBangkok Ja, when it's full it isn't that fun. But to be fair - "normal" people don't run around with cameras and point it on things like we do always. If we want film there it isn't that funny. So I think "normal" people can enjoy this place more than we. They just buying some food, sitting around and enjoying the ambience. :)
It would be a 24hour video Sam.. there’s thousands and thousands of bars open in Bangkok.. is there something specific you were interested in? Bangkok is huge

Love the atmosphere here! The pig next looked so good definitely need to get one when I go to Jodd Fairs.

The Ratchada One market opens in a couple of weeks so would hold out for that maybe.. I think it’s going to take the time light from Jodds a little

It has been so crowded lately. However, that is a good thing.My favorites are the grilled meats and the fresh lemonade guy at the entrance.
I try and remember how I felt as a tourist rather than an expat as much as I can. I will give the lemonade a try
