      The sad truth is that no one has a clue, we all react to what happens as it happens and try to analyse it but can’t predict an iota of what is going to unfold in the markets… content creators are like amplifiers, when times are good they affirm it and try to tell you why it’s good and that it’s looking bullish but then all of a sudden the market turns bearish and everyone affirms it again and try to analyse why… it’s so sad that many are so powerless and it's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 23k to a decent 119k$ in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Abby Joseph Cohen Service, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

    If “healthcare is a business first,” like everything else in the US, explains the pricing, why does healthcare seem to have a monopoly on increasing such crazy price structures and arbitrage?
    The US government subsidized tertiary education and it has done nothing but cause prices to explode.
    I just don’t understand what is so different about healthcare as a business when compared to literally every thing else.

    • @user-jt5ov8ps3o
      @user-jt5ov8ps3o 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The US is paying for the healthcare in those countries. The reason a prescription in Australia might only cost $3 is because the government has placed a cap on that medicine. If the medication costs $5 to produce, they have to make up the profit somewhere so they jack up the prices in the US to something like $7 (or more, depending on how many people in how many countries are using that medicine, and what their individual price caps are). He recognizes there is disparity in drug costs but his socialist ideology doesn't allow him to acknowledge why that is - he just chalks it up to corporate greed. The US subsidizes the world's healthcare, and the more goods and services they require, the higher our prices go.

      Think of it like a seesaw. When demand for goods and services increases, but supply can't keep up, businesses raise prices.
      Add in some extra money flowing into the economy from central banks, and you get inflation.

    I love how this guy thinks that healthcare is a "human right" yet it's the business-first Americans who are picking up the costs for nations with socialized healthcare systems. Denmark (and the rest) have caps on what companies can charge for healthcare services, so to prevent shortages that come from price fixing, Americans are forced to pay the difference to bridge the gap. Healthcare costs for Americans are so high because we're paying for everyone else.

  • @merrywalsh2809

    Speaking from my own observations as an RN for forty years, the two biggest macros that have healthcare untethered from the economy is that we have no caps on treatments. The sky is the limit. We will keep anyone alive for as long as the patients and families desire, no matter the outcomes. We will spend millions on one hopeless situation after the other, go to any lengths, no matter the costs. I have hundreds of examples. The second macro is drugs and medical equipment costs. There are no market restraints there either. Obama and Biden understand this and have fought hard against these rich, powerful interest groups and their GOP backers, to gain but a toehold on the problem. The ACA and Medicare getting to negotiate prices for a handful of key drugs is a wedge they have tried to drive forward. With ACA, yes it is still expensive, because the GOP killed the mandate. Insurance does not work unless everyone gets in the pool. My two cents. P.S. love this construct/tool you are presenting 💖 Looking forward to the time when AI is really unleashed on these tools. Until then, we have intelligent folks like Eric.
