When played and equipped properly the 430U is the best medium, it can do everything and do it well and in some situations it just excels compared to other mediums. It's an all around monster that has good armor, mobility, alpha (up to +500) and pen (340 gold). The only medium that can brawl nose to nose with heavies and many times comes out victorious. It's so versatile that it will take you time to take advantage and master all the different combat situations that you can face and come out victorious with it. The 430U does things that no medium can, not even close. Regarding the 113 vs 430U...I'll take the 430U. If you compare them on tanksgg with only full trained crew and nothing else, this is what you get: Better camo, better turret and tank traverse speeds, more amo capacity, better turret and hull armor, better terrain resistance, better aim time, same GOLD pen and better pen with reg amo. The 113 has just a few better things and not by much and I don´t think it makes it a better tank. Matter of fact, with the 430U camo, you could shoot from distance at the 113 and you will not even be detected. I play the 430U with full skills crew, orderly amo rack, venting system, innovative loading, extra combat rations and Survival Improvement T3.
"Brawling medium" with dubious armor and very little mobility is a winning proposition for sure. About as useful as a random bond shopped Guard or T-34-3 in tier 8.

It's amazing how people complain about 5 degree of gun depression. Back in the day it's pretty standard of every tank who isn't an American T29 line of tanks. The are the only ones who can fight hull down. This game is getting more and more pay to win as time goes by.
The main reason to not is because experimental doesn't lower the chance of fires unfortunately. It does boost the fuel tank health though, so its better than hardening but not quite as good as config for the sole purpose of stopping fires. I use experimental myself cuz I have a really good fire crew
About. 430 in, it is necessary to assemble correctly: Bon stabilizer, instructions for stabilization, a minimum of 4 perk crew, Food and 70-80% of the shells must be Komulyativamm. And also the game at close - medium distance and constant "microcontrol". Then you can safely give 2800 - 3600 damage per battle, if until now you did 2000 damage on armor-piercing shells.
I know this is late but i just found your channel(i used to watch quicky) i recently returned. I stopped before the sweeds were added. Im looking for a solid t10 med with good turret so i obviously want a russian but which one. I used to want the 430u (looks cool and i liked the alpha) but now ive heard it was nerfed to the ground and cant even go 50 kph. Any suggestions?
430U is one of the best tanks in the game. I beat usually S.Conqueror fighting face to face on this tank. T3 armour, projectile rammer and vent. It definitely more versatile than 113. And of course, it is not “russian” tank, as you wrongly presumed. 430U is a Soviet Union tank, which was projected and built in Kharkiv armoured-tanks plant (Ukrainian SSR). 430U has absolutely nothing to do with russia, mate. 430U, T64, T84 “Oplot” are Ukrainian tanks. Russians are too stupid to be able to build such excellent tanks.
I just worked to the 430U. It does bounce shots but, you constantly get ammo racked. In 3 games I was ammo racked at least once per game. Had an auto loader blow my top in two shots before I had time to repair. The E50m is German equivalent and doesn't seem to have the turret problems. I'm going to have to waste a commander point or use an equipment slot to help protect the ammo just to make the take workable.
When the 430u was at full strength I think it was as good as the object 907, I had almost identical stats in them. . . WG decided it was too good so nerfed the hell out of it, surely they should have also nerfed the 907, it's like when they nerfed the Kranvan and left the Chieftain and 279e alone. . Wg really need to ever start modifying reward vehicles of buffing tech tree tgsbks to take them up to a simular level.
nerfed the hell out of it? really? as far as i can recall, they changed the dispersion on the move from 0.12 to 0.16 and on the turret from 0.1 to 0.12. and they nerfed the over 300mm cupolas down to 275 region. i can not really see, how is that nerfing the hell out of it. medium tank with weak spots that need gold to be penned having its dispersion nerfed is a move towards balance, not nerfig the hell out of it:) 100% with you regarding the reward tank problem.
@ottrakkaselg8033 I don't want to sound too much like Claus Kellerman, he generally comes across as a conspiracy theory nutter, still love his content though, but the nerfs are not always shown in the stats. . I honestly think the sigma is real, I went to snap shotting dead centre of the aim circle while on the move to suddenly every shot going to the edges of the circle, even the pen seemed to go to the lowest possible amount as suddenly I was bouncing shots on targets I would have easily penned before. . I played over 100 games in it after it was nerfed and my win rate dropped down 7% and I lost about 1200 average damage per game. . My 907 still maintained its 65% Win rate. . I have all of the reward tanks apart from the m60 and the VK and woild happily have thrm all rebalanced for the overall good of the game. . I wouldn't have minded the 430u being nerfed if the 907 was also nerfed. . If you have 1 medium that's just better than all the others it just makes playing any other mediums feel pointless. . Same with the heavies, I can't see any point playing any others than my Chieftain, 279e is not even in the same league as broken as the Chieftain can just spam gold straight through its front plate while the 279e has no chance of penning a hull down Chieftain. . . Just give it some cuppolas ffs 🤣
Just bought this last week, though I probably won't be able to get a game in it for quite a while. Can't say I look forward to it too much though, I hate derpy guns, lol. But if you don't mind me saying so, I disagree with some of the things you said about 113. For one, the gun is utterly horrendous. Accuracy is a meaningless stat, sigma dictates real accuracy and 113 just tosses shells into the ground at any given opportunity. 113 also does not really have -7 gun depression. It's only over your sides, not over the hull front, you'll very rarely get to use it. But perhaps the worst thing is that 113 peeks VERY poorly, because it's a very long tank with turret in the middle. You'd hope it'd be compensated by decent sidescraping, but no, not really, it can't do either. Also yes, 113 gets ammo racked with almost every shot into its hull. It gets ammo racked more than Conquerors or Leopards and other famous ammo rack tanks.
You are talking about config, but yes, It will lessen the chance but it doesn't outright remove it once from happening in the game like if it was a fuel tank fire or ammo rack detonation.
What I always fail to understand is why people think it’s a good idea to drop an extinguisher for food on a tank that gets set of fire easily, then will drop a critical piece of equipment for modified configuration in order to compensate for the fire. You are compensating for a disadvantage that you inflict upon yourself. Go vents, rammer, stabs or hardening, rammer, stabs and use an auto fire extinguisher. You will thank me later.
@@MaxGamingFPS on paper, yes. Until half your tank burns to the ground and ruins your game potential. Even with mod config the trade off and risk isn’t worth the tiny (effective) bonus from food. Not for high risk tanks that burn if you look at them sternly. The reality is that the 2-3 shots of damage worth of your tank’s HP you risk losing to a fire, could have allowed you to survive long enough to get another several shots of damage out of the game before dying. Nothing guarantees that from happening more than a fire extinguisher, and it is far more valuable than the very slight bonus you get from food. You can’t continue to get damage from the garage.

I caught fire 7 times. 2 of which burned out for 500 - 600 HP (Because if you used a fire extinguisher, you can catch fire again while the fire extinguisher is recharging) 2 times, after the BC was repaired, the Ammunition was detonated. Result: I put a layout to protect the internal modules and decided to test it all with "Pudding". For 120 battles after. I have never had a BC break, I only caught fire once. And I fully pumped the crew with Fire Extinguisher. When I have 2 marks on this machine, (Approximately 80-120 fights) I will remove the Pudding and install an automatic fire extinguisher. But I will not remove Layout.

The best med for me would be the Leo 1. It's just super flexable and reliable gun. You don't care about what tanks you face since you are always going to get penned anyway. 2nd is 121B imo.
On the bounty protection tech, 4:04, you mention that engine fire is not affected. But at the bottom it does state "-70 to the chance of engine fire". Is this a bug ingame?

cannot make this tank work. I think I have a 44% wr on it when I usually make 55%+ on most tanks, but then again none of my tier x tanks have what I consider decent stats.
At 10 levels, there is always some "Trash". In the form of 2-3 art, which "give an almost permanent state", there is a minimum of 2 liters (one of which is usually a wheeled tank). No. Everything has a set chance of setting you on fire with each shot. (damaged fuel tanks etc will increase this chance). -100% does not mean it cannot happen. It just means it is now 100% less likely from whatever % chance it had before hand.

I have the T62A and I can safely say, I would rather play in Leo 1 than T62A. The gun troll me so hard even in mid range. While Leo gun is reliable at all range. Armor doesnt seem to really matter in my T62A, I seem to get penned easily anyway even if I hull down(enemy Concept 5 easily face pen my turret with normal AP). Leo is more mobile, have better alpha and gun handling.

Haven’t played it in years, the gun just trolls me too hard even at short ranges. Typical game bounce 3-4K damage and actually pen under 2k damage

403U is more of a heavy than a med. 50kph is not slow for this tank however.

I play on console those aren't options. Up to 9 skills on commander and 4 equipment slots one which is used by bush outlines/pen chance.

It doesn't prevent an engine fire like it does to the fuel tanks or ammo rack detonation. It will however help lessen the chance of an engine fire.

cannot make this tank work. I think I have a 44% wr on it when I usually make 55%+ on most tanks, but then again none of my tier x tanks have what I consider decent stats.

No. Everything has a set chance of setting you on fire with each shot. (damaged fuel tanks etc will increase this chance). -100% does not mean it cannot happen. It just means it is now 100% less likely from whatever % chance it had before hand.

I have the T62A and I can safely say, I would rather play in Leo 1 than T62A.
The gun troll me so hard even in mid range. While Leo gun is reliable at all range. Armor doesnt seem to really matter in my T62A, I seem to get penned easily anyway even if I hull down(enemy Concept 5 easily face pen my turret with normal AP).
Leo is more mobile, have better alpha and gun handling.
