I agree with all of your comments for sure. As bad a job as Shapiro and Adkins have done they pale when compared to John Schneider. This George Springer situation is ridiculous. Everybody knows George isn't what he used to be but Schneider keeps him hitting lead off for most of this season until fairly recently. If he was the Yankees manager they'd be fighting for a playoff spot. And I have had it with Vladdy. His aferage is good but none of those hits have been delivered when they really needed it. Two men on base, one out and Vladdy coming to the plate usually means a double play and inning over. I wonder why this team never gave Mattingly a chance to run the team. They must not think much of him.
I agree. You have little to lose and everything to gain from playing him everyday. The biggest fault with this team is the front office personnel. They took a good team and destroyed it
